SUV hit by train in Beacon Falls
According to Metropolitan Transit Authority , the 2:50 p.m. train out of Waterbury to Bridgeport, was just north of the Beacon Falls platform, when an SUV in a parking lot, either backed up or went forward onto the tracks around 3:10 p.m. An MTA bus came to transfer the 30 train passengers.
