You know, that is the biggest preparation of all---getting right with God.

God gives meaning to our lives.

He never promised us earthly survival, but only by His grace we do survive in these times.

Best of all, we can claim eternal life, and an inheritance with Christ.

So prepare by seeking the Lord!!

Just waiting for the christians and muslims to join forces against my group of evolutionist for the final battle. I doubt that will happen as both religious camps have nukes, and don't mind using them to get to their virgins (muslims), and streets of gold (christians). Which is kind of funny, carrot on a stick if you will. It shows what both groups value most in an after life. Perhaps both religious groups could stand in a long line, shooting each other one by one till they all are where they deserve to be. I will volunteer to send the last one off to his rewards. Then evolutionist will have an easier go at saving this planet, if it is not too late already, as we have no place else to go. God's speed, praise Allah, and thanks be unto my Uncle Monkey.

Swine flu has mutated and the mutated version is behind the outbreak in Ukraine. This is reported in the Washington Post and NY Times. Here is a good update:

Toots, A lovely post! You know I agree wholeheartedly.
Our world is in a crisis state at this time. Globally we are one year drought away from global famine.(I can't help but think about Kenya.)
I never answered your question about the Nutrasystem Diet. Many of the meals are freeze dried, just add hot water. Others are microwavable but could be heated on a Coleman stove which of course uses only Coleman fuel and not propane but could be used to heat the foods, if push comes to shove. Other items are microwavable soups, granola bars, brownies, etc., etc. The foods are far from a home cooked meal but could sustain a person in a crisis situation. Actually, the initial cost sounds expensive but a month's supply is going to last two months. Similar items could be purchased and kept on hand in case of crisis. IMO, this system has saved money since I don't go to Walmart as often, I don't pick up things I don't need :D
Truthfully, I haven't been reading all of your links because I have found there are some things a person is better off not knowing, but I ran across this site and didn't know if you had posted it. I have to admit it is disturbing. A person would have to wear a carbon filtered army mask to avoid contamination as to what this article suggest.

I don't know about the army mask. A tin foil hat might work best for you.

Hey Free...do those tin foil hats work? Is that how you gain internet access? The new Reynolds Wrap commercial on TV says you get an extra 5 feet of foil if you buy their brand. Yikes! That's at least 2 extra hats depending on how elaborate they are. Would you suggest a tight fitting cloche or a brimmed style?

The brimmed style will cover a much larger person as yourself because of it's larger size (physics). That would be the one you need.

The only problem is the year we have as 2009 is incorrect according to the actual date of Jesus' birthday being April 17, 6 B.C. According to astrologers, this is the only time the planets would have been in alignment for the eastern star to shine so brightly as recorded in the Bible. Also the shepherds were in the fields which signifies warm weather and spring is the sign of righteousness. Christians, who were persecuted for their belief, chose the date of December 25 to celebrate Jesus' birthday because it is the first day of the year when the sun begins to lengthen daylight. Jesus was also known as the sun god, but He is the Son of Man.
The Mayan calendar could be correct but the year date we currently use is off.
Go figure. How could man mess things up so?

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Libra

Get organized because that's the best way to be productive today. You're eager to be as efficient and practical as possible, but you won't get very far if you don't know what to do first. So draw up a list of priorities and start with the most urgent. Ideally, you should be left to your own devices while you do all this because that will aid your concentration and self-confidence.
