My opinion.
Does it bother you? Usually when people get smart and angry it/s because they know the other person is correct in what they say

I don't like people like you handing down judgement on everyone else yet upholding criminals.

Some places people work, they need their job desperately, and have to put up with horrible insane treatment. You can't be grateful when you put up with that 40-60 hrs a week.

I'll bet you are one of those that has that nose up and makes people/co-workers miserable.

Finally escaped to a better job - a real factory that lets you wear your own clothes (have rules too - but don't make you have a heat stroke trying to "LOOK PROFESSIONAL" having polyester on - tucked into pants that do not breath and having to wear a hat that cooks your head). Thank God if you are willing to work - you can get away - even if it takes awhile.

Yeah - so glad I am gone & had sense to use a co-worker's computer because cannot trust KDMK management. Have a lawsuits against them. Wonder why?!!! Work there if you want and be a good slug - do not let them push you to cause you permanent damage. Will try to get you to do disability - thus your fault - not the conditions of working and doing same thing over & over - thus causing your body weird permanent muscular changers that cause pain -doctors will not help you with any idea that it is work related unless your are so badly damaged that you will not walk normal again. So if you want to try it and get into management so you do not have pain for the rest of your life - come and join the KDMK family - they will welcome you open arms and you can then see why only they have such a high turnover and why so-called great managers have left (where is the great managers, team leaders & subleaders of the past -surely all cannot have not left because they came into a 'cash cow'? Hope the rest of you can make it without being in pain every night and wondering if you should cross the line like your GREAT fellow workers who use pain killers and stakers just to make it through the day. What a way to make a living. Thank you KDMK for helping most of use who got away to see why there is more to life than taking drugs to pay the bills.

The company was "closed" due to Toyota who is main customer is closed down this week. Will let you take week off on-paid, use any vacation time left or will let you work (if any work is available). The place may be clean - but there is a lot of dirt and grim that needs to be removed. But management cannot see this dirt because they would have to look down or up and use their eyes - oh may cannot ask them to see what is not running them over or falling on their heads. Most people need time off to heal 'their wounds' or need to work & do the fake push of broom around to clean (will not bend & get actual dirt from under machines). Sorry to be so negative but the company needs to wake up & face reality and wonder why so many slugs are still there, why the good management people have left for 'I had a family emergency', and get some good glasses and see what is really going on - why do people have cell phones on the floor (not suppose to)- take calls, pictures & text message each other and others out of the building all day long - why cannot upper management see this - they do not want to and do not care that 'secrets' are being shown around the world. GO CHINA - soon our fuel pumps will come from them??????

In my opinion, there are alot of people there that really don't do anything. There are way too many chiefs and not enough indians.

I have just read all of the postings on this page and I am really suprised. I started at KDMK right when they moved to Mt. Sterling. I have seen many things go on there, not all of them were good but a great many of them were. I was one of the people who "moved up the ladder". Frankly, I was pissed when I read the posting that basically said that you had to kiss butt or know someone to move up in the company. I was not an overly popular person with my co-workers or management but when I came through those doors every morning I came to work and everyone knew that. I didn't call in because of some trumped up excuse and I did my job the way I was shown and paid to do it. I moved up in the company (rather quickly) because I flat out worked my ass off. Yes it is hard work but isn't that why it is called WORK??? It has been my experience within the company that the people who do the most complaining are the ones who think that everyone should hold their hand and give to them instead of earning what you get. I did agree with the comment about too many chiefs and not enough indians. Sure seems like there are a few EX-chiefs commenting on this page. If you were hired in as an indian then you should stay an indian until you EARN your feathers to be a chief.

was an intern there, it is pretty good place to work, at least the office is...production floor is hectic and really fast-paced...were in the process of expanding when i was there, had just brought up the machines from TN...the Japanese are intimidating, but the majority of them are nice and easy to get along with...

used to work for TBDN, in TN, they are sister company to KDMK, ..the facts are these, they are Japanese owned, I saw ideas squashed, good people leave, bad people promoted, alot of hours, alot of STRESS, on the floor and in the office. There is favoritism in most jobs, however, these DENSO companies display it more, from the manager level thru team leaders. Did it for 7 years. The money was good, but the system almost drove me crazy. Only do it, if nothing bothers you, and you have no life.

KDMK is not a good place to work.
I worked there for two years.
The Japanese management has an attitude to the American team members.
The management is the worst that I have ever worked for.
The HR manager and Asst. HR manager does not stand up for the team members if the the team member reports to a Japanese manager.
The Accounting Manager creates a Hostile work environment to departments team members.
He needs to be fired from KDMK due to the way he treats other team members.

Okay, plain and simple. I have been there for a while now. I have seen so many people come and go faster than you can blink. However the pay can be good if you want to work the long hours. Getting on there can be easy depending on who you know. If you don't know somebody it can be difficult depending on your work history as any place of employment. Otherwise go through Addeco you work for six months before you can even get benefits. They of course tell you three and then you have to wait out your ninety days through KDMK itself. I would like to tell more however I need to keep my job so going to much further and them finding out could put that in jeopardy. I do like my job, it is a very clean facility and they are very good in certain things and offer great benefits.

kdmk is horrible they use intimidation to bully their workers now that the economy is in such a shape that people are desperate for work they are treating them even worse i was a subleader there and was treated like shit there are some good people there but for the management team theres not a hell that burns hot enough for you and youll find out
Been there done that

I worked for KDMK when it was located in Winchester.. as of this time there are only 4 maybe 5 people that have been there since 2002. That should tell you something. 3 of those are in the office..
