Around $325 during a really cold month. I had Fleming Mason before and liked it a lot better. Seemed like I didn't have near the power outages on Fleming Mason as I do on Clark.

Only if you work and have a job. The welfare and dopers will keep getting their checks every month while the working class struggles.

<quoted text>KENTUCKY UTILITIES have gotten just as high as the rest. Ten years ago my KU bills winter and summer was around 27$ a month and know they are around 110$ a month for a four room apartment. Just think what they be for a big house. All utilities companys are the same. You can buy water in a jug for what a water bill is know and the water they put out isn't worth drinking. Just fill up a cup full and watch it turn red in color.
I know they have went up, I used to have KU. I would take $200.00 all year around now and never say a word.

Mt. Sterling water tastes like dirt is in it, Bath county is not very much, but the water tastes better than Mt. Sterling. All the time I lived there I bought jugs of water from the store to be able to have water to drink. I have run water in the tub to take a bath many times and it would be white as milk and almost like it had curds in it like when they make cheese, weird looking water.

I have 1700sq mobile home with foundation. Run air all summer and heat in winter. Summer bill is around 100.00-120.00. Winter 200.00-400.00. If you notice, half the bill is tax and fees.

4 bedroom living room, laundry room kitchen bathroom sunroom and upstairs unfinished attic area. KU rates aren't bad. This house is old as dirt with barely any insulation, pathetic windows. It needs a lot of work.

why should you pay for this when they already charge you so damn much for the service. You take 5$ per meter it runs into alot of money. People should go back to the old way of living burn coal and wood for heat and you use to be able to use kerosene for lights but it's got to high to use.Pretty soon you'll work just to pay bills and ride a horse and buggy to work.Maybe the Amish have the right ideals about cutting down on high cost of living. If people would stick together and cut back on utilities and modern things I just wonder if bills would go down or go up. My opinion is they'd go up.
The Amish do it for religious reasons, but I would say they have more money in their pockets / banks than we do.

I have lived in Mt.Sterling for 35 years, and not once has the water been milky or smelled so bad that you had to hold your nose to take a shower.I will say this every once in a while it has a stronger odor of chlorine than normal, but nothing like what you all are talking about. And the rates are high,it seems like every month my bill jumps a couple of dollars.

Have a 3 bedroom trailer in Bath Co. Average runs over $300 to $450 a month here.
