Which place is the best to deal with? Does either one give fair prices? Is there such thing as a good pawn shop? Who would you deal with? Let us know!

Can't say. No. No. I would rather sell stuff directly to individuals (and take out the middle man). Pawn Shops are rip-offs - always.

Let me tell you about the pawn shops. Isn't it amazing that most things stolen out of people's homes are found there at the local pawn shops? Maybe it's because the people working at the pawn shops have people breaking into homes to steal stuff for their gain. I had a gun stolen once, found it at a pawn shop, identified it, had a police report. Guess what, the sheet that the pawner had to sign mysteriously disappeared, and the pawn shop was not held liable for having my stolen gun. I got the gun back, tried to get the pawn shop owner on receiving stolen property charges but was told he was not the blame by the county attorney. So if his papers disappear does that mean no one gets charged? I call bullS**t. If they don't cooperate, must mean they are part of it I say.

The best thing for you to do is get that load out your mouth and that cock out your ass. Nobody asked an opinion on how to get money. A lot of people SELL things to pawn shops. Maybe they wanna quick buck or maybe they just don't need something anymore.

my 20 yr. old daughter just took in a very expensive ring to a pawn shop in a neighboring county with the intent of getting it out in a few days. Her friends baby needed diapers and there wasn't any money for it.She went back early to pick up her ring and found that it was gone.Altho she still had several days to pick it up in.After discussing it with the owner of the shop, he's willing to shell out 500.00 without going to court, just a little of the rings value. But after being so upset and crying over it for days, shes finally decided to take his offer. But my advice for anyone is unless you really want to part with anything, then stay away from these shops, I personally think they are ripoffs

I dont pawn my stuff ever thank goodness i never had too. My friends do and they get done ok at both pawn shops. But try and buy something at any pawn shop there prices are crazy and they dont have much in any of it. I went to laytons and seen and Ipod that was 215.00 and they have it at walmart for 195.00 brand new. And as for Jewlrey they give 20to50 dollars for something and will ask 250.00 for it when they sell it. Thats why they cant sell it who can afford that.

I can tell you ALL, it is the nature of the business! The people who run and own H&H are very honest people! They would treat anyone honest, and with the upmost respect! A pawn shop is a pawn shop, granted, but if you wanna do business with one or the other, go to H&H!
