yes

Yes, it has happened. But after you lie on your resume about that question you will be found out and fired. they do check, the Slipups are only with name changes.

No rehires unless u left on good terms. They do background checks and run fingerprints through fbi database before hiring anyone. Minor infractions usually won't hurt ur chances as long as they r disclosed before getting hired

What if you emailed or called Linda Mitchell explaining the circumstances. Do you think there is any way they would let you come back?

I haven't even been called to rehire even after obtaining a bachelor's degree and putting in two weeks notice when I left. I'm either really over qualified, or they didn't like me.

I don't think they like to hire people with degrees. It seems like the only way they hire anyone with a degree is to go through a temp agency. I wonder if they get a tax credit for hiring people without degrees. I know they get tax credits for hiring veterans, and people who have been unemployed 6 months. I have even seen them hire people very pregnant...must be a tax credit too. The bank is real cliquey. They like to hire the friends of friends before anyone else. Go through a temp agency it is your best chance.

You can rehire, they just always tell the mngr you were working for when you quit before the hire you back. Most of the time the mngrs don't care cause most people switch depts/buildings it happens all the time.

Surely there's some job I can get based upon my credentials. It's just insanely hard to get jobs right now.

I would love to go back

I would love to go back not sure all the details on ur situation but i know of 2 girls out of my dept (which is small) that have quit just because we dont get paid any incentive, did not give a notice. Then few months later our boss mentioned to us hey so and so is working for the company again but in another dept & we asked how and he told us that as long you did not do anything illegal or make a big scene or nethng like that when you quit as long your old mngr doesn't object they allow that... and I know HR is really easy to talk to and explain your situation to.
