Where is it at? I don't think I would try to return anything. Was something wrong with it and they didn't let you return?

Mudd's is a locally owned business that is also very Christian based. ALL of their furniture is made in the USA. Just bought a dining room set from them and love it. A little pricier, but you get what you pay for. Also, if Mudds isn't in your budget, try Value City in Evansville. Quality stuff at a reasonable price.

Mudds Clearance Wharehouse is right across the street from the regular Mudd's store. When I got it home I did not like the looks of it. Also the guys who work there basically nicked it in several places! I looked all over it before I left the store and paid for it. When I am paying that kind of money I definately looked over it. Because the clearance price was still several thousand dollars!

You will see many ads in the newspaper and craigslist with Mudd's furniture they are selling that is brand new! They would not even let me exchange. It was NEVER used when I asked for the refund/exchange. I should have gotten a lawyer and made them at least replace/fix the nicked areas!

That lady who works in the clearance wharehouse just wants her commission. She is mental. STAY AWAY FROM HER!!! She rolls her eyes when she thinks customers are not going to catch her. No one else in Owensboro will hire her because of her dispostion.

The sad thing is the workers who work at Mudd's are WHITE TRASH AND SCUMB OF OWENSBORO. They all live in shit shacks and could never afford Mudd's furniture. They have no sense of judgement when it comes dealing with expensive furniture and buy their furniture at St. Vincent Depaul. Therefore they treat your paid for furniture like second hand consignment shop resale when handling it.

I never even mentioned to Mudd's owners that THEIR employees had nicked the furniture when I asked if I could return because I did not like the looks of it when I got it home. Mudds flat out told me NO RETURNS on clearance merchandise even only a few hours old.

Basically in a NUTSHELL. They screwed over me! Don't let the church based stuff fool you. They are the most self righteous jerks. I don't care how long they have been in business they are running themselves out of this town by their actions!

I seen Value City's ad in the newspaper, they have pretty good deals. I'm thinking about going there but I wanted to check around town first.

Bought a livingroom set from Value City 9yrs ago, its leather and still looks new! Also a dining room set from furniture barn on corner of triplett and 4th no problems there either. I would research Brand and not the store!

Rivercity furniture on 4th and triplett. They sell Ashley Furniture. If they don't have what you want in stock they will order it for you. Customer service there is great. They usually knock off a few hundred dollars if you are buying a couple pieces.

Mudd's sales reps are RUDE! My husband and I went there looking for an entertainment center. Not just a small cabinet deal, but a large wall unit. When we were out looking, we weren't dressed all decked out, it was cold, and we were wearing hoodies and sweats. As soon as I approached a sales lady I asked her to point me in the direction of what I was looking for. She told me they didn't have anything in my price range and suggested I go to the clearance store...funny thing was I never even mentioned a price range! This high and mighty bitch just assumed I couldn't afford anything in their store! They had several wall units! Funny thing...JOKE WAS ON THEM! My husband and I own our own business, and were looking to buy several thousands of dollars worth of furniture. We spent our thousands elsewhere. And will continue to do so in the future.

No selection. Over priced junky made furniture. Big lots furniture has a better selection and price. Plus the older sales lady there needs to learn how to deal with the general public. She has no people skills. I went back a year and a half later and the same items were still on display. They don't have much turn over as far as sales. Crandall's made his name and money in this city via the Executive Inn. Since the Big E is gone so is his business. He had buddies at the Big E purchasing department!

I was lucky and bought a sectional at Mudds and had a very nice salesperson help me out. I went back a few months later looking for some dining room furniture, and a different salesperson pretty much ignored me and just pointed me somewhere and walked off. Will never go back there again. Try Alles Brothers in Henderson, low down payment, monthly payments with no interest....they can order you anything you need.
