Well as long as they aren't fanatic in the sense that they're mean and hateful, they don't bother me at all. If that's their belief, then they should stick to it. I generally like people for who they are, not what they wear. I don't cringe when I see women in long skirts or clothes that aren't the latest style or whatever. I do kinda cringe when I see women squeezed into hoochie shorts that they can barely close and a shirt that's 5 sizes too small, and girls with clothes that show their beginnings. Other than that, I don't really care what other people wear.

I'm sure these jean skirt-wearing women cringe every time they see a female from ages 13-43 with boobs hanging out of her top paired with shorts short enough to pass as underwear. Or a guy with pants hanging so low, they may as well not have bothered putting any on.

People's opinions of nasty do vary.

They creep me out and I try to avoid them, it's for the best. I can't have a conversation with a dogmatic theist without someone's feelings getting hurt.

It is really embarrassing to see so much butt crack and so much cleavage along with certain clothing. With all of that sort of stuff going on its like a train wreck that you gotta watch. A "can you BELIEVE what your SEEING !" moment! Lol At least with the longer dresses and higher necklines you can focus on the person and not the free show.

Fundamentalism from a logical perspective is ignorance in my opinion. Moderate's of any faith I have absolutely no problem with. The Fundies I have a problem with. Like many here tho as well. Long as they're not bothering me I do not necessarily have a problem with them. The trouble with this is most fundamentalist interject themselves, and their religion upon you. I haven't seen much religious extremism in Owensboro tho. I am not saying it's not here, but it isn't intolerable. So, for being in the bible belt this is actually in my opinion not a very fanatical religious city. Now I would guess most religious individuals are Christians in this area. Christian fundamentalist's haven't gone completely wacko in a long time. I mean there hasn't been a witch hunt or Crusade in a long time. So, I think that plays a huge role. Summary. I do not care for Religious fundamentalist's, but I don't feel we have a huge threat from them in our area. Due in part mostly because of the dominating religion being Christianity.

i know some very extreme "christians" here in owensboro. luckily they just dont have enough people behind them to really make a problem. very narrow minded and judgemental. guess its ok for them to condemn everyone to hell because they use the bible to serve whatever crusade they are on this month. i would say the bible also says its the lords job to judge not ours. but hey maybe i misses a verse or 2 in the good book.

Oh really? Yeah, I am glad they do not have a huge backing as well. I am sure you have seen this. If not check it out. Maybe others can view and think about it as well that have not seen it. I do not agree with this video in it's entirety. However it can be applied to all religions in my opinion. When I first seen this it somewhat irritated me. I had to view it a second and third time till I fully understood the message the individual was conveying. I still am not sure I agree with all of it, but it is definitely food for thought.

No problem at all it was my pleasure. There are related videos pro and con to this one that are worth a checkout. It's always good to learn others ideology. That's how I believe we can grow as a human race. They often say there are some topics that we should not talk about openly. Religion and politics. I disagree with this completely. I think these are topics as a people of the human race should discuss often. It's just hard to discuss religion with fundamentalists. People will say it often leads to fighting if the discussion is about the two subjects. Now you may ask. How do I know if someone is a fundamentalist? One way I have of knowing is if the individual feels the need to fight over such a topic. If one cannot conduct themselves in a peaceful manner during discourse. What does that say about them? Also, I wish these people would see that they're demeaning their own religion whatever it may or may not be.:)

You mean "mentally"? As in you are mentally disturbed to be calling her nasty and ugly?
