So has anyone heard where the BBQ festival is actually going to be this year? I can't see the powers that be allowing it on Veterans Blvd, don't want anyone damaging the playground, fountains, etc.(and you know some of the people in Owensboro would damage it). Second Street is going to be torn up with sewer work....so where are they going to put it?

Who cares where they have it. Probably another 5-10 yrs it wont even be here. The BBQ fest has been a joke. Ever since they started letting local wannabes headline. And stopped bringing in big named bands. Then police running everyone off around 11 doesn't help. No Im not a punk kid nor someone that wants to start trouble.

the cops are told to run people off. They don't have a say in the matter. The closing times are well noted every year. It's not the cops fault

You and "Itchy Dude" both need to learn to speak and spell English. Can't understand anything your inbred, wigger ass is saying.

The festival isn't going to last bc the city does not help back it and it costs a lot of money and no one wants to help

it may cost alot of money but i think they can afford it. With all the money that the city(tax payers) is throwing around all the rides for the kids should be free.

We need this festival, we need a gala, we need a party, we need a gathering, we need a picnic, we need a cookout, we need a government program...
