alivia Princeton, KY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Feb 16, 2013 We were. Went off birth control in august of 2011. No period until Jan and Feb then nothing. Saw my doctor in April. I did 3 cycles of clomid that did nothing at all but give me awful cramps. Then i did one round of femara and got my bfp this past september. Due this summer. I have pcos and started having irregular periods when i was 13. My doctor back then gave me a brochure and basically said i probably would never have kids. A few years ago I found a new doctor that said when i was ready she would do what she could to make it happen but over the years i came to terms with the idea that i probably wouldnt have kids. When i got my positive i must have taken 15 tests before i believed it. Ttc can be really stressful but you arent out until you reach menopause. I am expecting my first at 36 so it can happen. My best advice is find a great doctor to work with. Try oral meds first because they are not real expensive in fact the femara i used is a $4 drug. Good luck!!

We aren't sure whether to try again or not but We aren't taking precautions to prevent it. Every month I hope and pray to get lucky but hasn't happened yet.

I cannot imagine how that feels. I had spotting a few times early on and immediately felt doomed. We found out really early too which scared me more because i think most miscarriages occur before your period is due. I dont know how i would cope with a loss and feel for anyone that has too.
