Evidently this town has a problem with the young children in the schools. The school board needs to take some blame and correct this problem. And the parents of every child should scare the life out of thier kids and tell them if they get caught bullying they will be in severe trouble! I hope the kids that did the bullying are prosecuted to the fullest as adults. You play you pay! This is no ordinary high school problems. This is much much bigger and the longer they overlook it the worse it will get !

My son was bullied last year quite a bit. I didn't know about it until my daughter told me. I immediately contacted the schools and it was taken care of immediately. Unfortunately though, this year he was being bullied on the bus by an 18 year old (my son is 11). I could not get anyone to contact me back regarding the situation. I contacted the bus garage, the bus driver, the principals of all schools involved...anyone I could think of. And not once did I get a phone call. My son has just learned to avoid this kid at all costs. The point is, unless you know about it and get help the bullying is going to continue. Pay attention to your kids and if you notice a difference in them bullying could be the cause.

It's not the schools job to raise their children. It's the school's job to teach children. Parents need to step up and teach their children that bullying is wrong, and cruel. We need parents to teach their children right from wrong, how to act around people and how to treat others. It's poor parenting that has become the bane of our society. They raise their children to only care for themselves, be selfish, and raise them on nothing but TV and video games. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with video games and TV, but it should be in moderation with the child taught right from wrong. Until then, we're going to suffer the consequences.

yea i said it wrote:
Kids are to much of pussies today! Guess thats what happens when they're raised to believe that they're all "winners"! Everybody gets a trophy, right?
The Lil Poop Butts wanna walk and talk like they're are so tough but can't take a little ridicule. Let's hope more take the easy way out!!
Though this is a harsh comment, in a way it's true. Kids today really are starting to regress in to little softies. Gone are the days when people are taught to stand up for themselves and actually do it. AND to you people who says its the school administrations fault you are full of it, what happened to the PARENTS role in protecting their child from bullying, not relying on the oh-so excellent school system to take care of every problem

Unfortunately, there is only so much a school can do about bullies. And parents of bullies usually don't care. I bet the bullies are even laughing about this event.

The best way to stop a bully is to kick his/her a$s. Once he/she know that you wont take any $hit for them they will leave you alone
