The older ones are way out of touch. The younger generation is starting to see the light.

They're in a panic over becoming obsolete. Look how many times they keep complaining and making the same posts again and again on this site.

this heading implies that they've only recently become out of touch. not true. conservatives have been out of touch for many years now. i love how last election was basically social rights vs. better economy and now we have both! so long, conservatives! hope you enjoyed your reign of bigotry, racism, intolerance, and ignorance!

Ronald Reagan is still loved and revered by almost all Republicans. However, by today's standards most GOP'ers would view him as a liberal extremist. It's really sad how far to the right the GOP has gone - its slowly making them obsolete as a political party, but the gridlock it has caused our government is having a very negative impact on us all. Their death as a party can't come quick enough.

It's really sad how far to the left you guys have gone. You are always quick to blame. If we could learn to work together instead of against each other, things might start to get accomplished. And that goes for both parties, not just one.

I would quickly agree that there's plenty if blame to share regarding gridlock and our ineffective government. However, I'm not sure the Dems are much further to the left than they have been historically. Some examples might help shake my old memory loose.:)
