Someone who truly is wealthy and lucky financially wouldn't be on here saying how they are too good to buy used stuff. People with money don't have to brag, you just see their material things and the way they are and know they have money or not. Some people who are very wealthy do NOT show it all...Nobody is too good to buy used items. NOBODY. And I don't believe for one second the one "gloating" buys whatever they want whenever they want..not legitimately anyway. Get a grip...you live In Owensboro, not Hollywood and you wouldn't last there...guarantee that. Sheeeesh! However, I do agree some of the stuff on Barter and Trade, you can just tell is junk and some people are hard up for money for whatever reason that may be. Don't make it your problem. If you see something you like, buy it, if not, move on to the next thing your eye catches
Having enough money to buy a new shirt from a store instead of a used junk website is NOT BRAGGING! If it is to you than my life would definitely hurt your feelings.

<quoted text>They called me bitter first! Don't twist my words! I don't feel bad about what I said or what I can afford. I'll buy new! You buy new, used, junk whatever ... I don't care! My original post was I think it's stupid to spend 10.00 in gas to buy $1 used shirt ... I STILL FEEL THAT WAY!
I didnt call you bitter for buying junk. I just said dont be bitter that i gave u a legit answer for why ppl buy off there and can set up meetings that dont waste gas. I agree with your logic of driving out of the way for a cheap item and just pointed out it could be done without wasting gas. Its fine if you dont feel bad about what you said because i didnt take it personally because i dont drive out of my way ever let alone a $1 shirt.

For the record I'm not worried about your financial future. I too am in the same boat as you. Own my own home, own my own car. No credit card debt either. My parents also taught me well. Only difference, 20 years ago I was in middle school.

I see what comment you are referring to. I was responding to someone calling me a name. Maybe you shouldnt take my comment out of context. Follow the entire conversation. But regardless I'm not mad that I can afford new things you shouldn't be mad because I can either.
It will come back and bite you in your A--!! I bet that money comes from laying on your back. ;)

I never saw anything on this page other than things that looked like last years yard sale finds that were now on sale by their 3rd owner.
If you have found DEALS that were deals in your eyes than good for you. I haven't seen a thing I would look twice at. That's just my opinion.
Well don't worry about it than!! Can I come shop at your house?

So now you're bitter because I buy new and donate to charity? I don't look down on you or and anybody else. I just don't buy junk off of those sites. To each is own. Buy away!
