Give up corporate welfare too then. Then we can be a true capitalist society.

Corporate welfare is 100 billion a year vs 33 billion for all government programs to help the poor.

If every guy that got a girl pregnant paid his fair share, there would be no need for welfare. Male politicians are not going to hold men accountable.

Expenditures is paying interest on all the money we owe, then defense spending, then Medicare & Medicaid, and finally social programs like welfare. Medicare and Medicaid should be paying for themselves, but congress & previous presidents kept spending the reserves on other things.

Yes, because every woman who receives child support has a job and does not receive welfare. And we all know women have no responsibility when it comes to reproduction. That's why liberals think women should get free birth control and abortions. Woman cannot take care of ourselves....we're just women afterall!!

I never said women do not have any responsibility in the situation, but look around at all the women raising children without any help. There are a lot of single mothers working and getting some kind of government assistance. It is expensive to pay for day care, and some women don't make enough to put their children in day care and work. When a baby is brought into this world, there should be an automatic paternity test. Then, each individual should contribute equally to the care of this child or go to jail. This would end a lot of these problems. You might better understand the complexities and economic factors of the working poor and feminization of poverty if you had gone to college.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Leo

This is a great day for fixing things that have gone wrong. If there have been ructions in your relationship with a certain person this is when you can sort things out and get them back on track. If an appliance or gadget is going on the blink, this is your cue to either get it mended or chuck it out and replace it. You may also find time to tidy up your immediate surroundings or take all those bottles and papers to your nearest recycling center. How virtuous you'll feel when it's all done!
