Actually I had a friend shoot himself in the eye with one while climbing a ladder at work. AND ... I used one myself while helping out my roof on.

I find that extremely hard to believe. Unless your friend was stupid enough to be climing a ladder with a nail gun that has the safety feature disabled, in which case your friend is a moron and got what he deserved.

This was 20 years ago. It happened. Maybe he was carrying it without the safety on. Maybe the safety features for the equipment were different in those days ... REGARDLESS it happened. Couldn't possibly care any less. If you believe it or not. Why would I make something so remedial up? Give me a break.

You're just wanting to argue because I clearly have. Like I said, I used one when I helped put our roof on. AND my friend shot himself in the eye it. Clearly you're an idiot if you think I would make up such stupid meaningless things.

Safety is not something u can turn off or on
It is automatic
Nail guns have got to b pushed into a hard surface to release the trigger mechanism
And a nail gun is so heavy u would not pack it pointed up at your eye

It happened! I am we'll aware of how the safety works, I know it has to be pressed against a surface to happen ... It happened.

And yet you claim your friend "must have had it turned off" and you claim you don't care if we believe you yet keep coming back to convince us

Here's a list of OSHA nail gun accidents pertaining to being shot in the eye. Geez ... I'm pretty sure OSHA would know better than you would.
