It's amazing how stupid you food stamp whiners are. I guess Fox News and talk radio doesn't let you know that more money goes to corporate subsidies than social programs?

Haha! I've seen him do it a few times. He only has a few versions of him spam, so I guess he's copy and pasting that one without checking. You'd think with as much time as that loser has, he'd notice.

Keeping major corporations afloat so tens of thousands don't lose their jobs or cradling millions who don't want to work and want a free hand out... One sounds alot worse than the other...

You're completely incorrect. Corporate subsidies have nothing to do with keeping companies afloat like bailouts. They are simply an unnecessary giveaway and a waste of our tax money. You really sound foolish when you spout republican talking points instead of facts.

So giving major corporations that employ lots of people and keep the economy going "free money" is a waste? But handing out "free money" to a majority of people with their hands out who are too lazy to work is ok? Makes sense...

The oil industry reports record high profits in almost every quarter and are among the most profitable in the world. They don't need our tax money to stay afloat or to keep people working.

Nothing you've been spouting makes sense. Your entire argument is based a false premise. Misinformed people like you are a side effect of people who limit their sources of information. Please come back when taken more time to educate yourself.

Obama and the Democrats talk about huge “subsidies”— as if taxpayers are signing billion-dollar checks to oil and gas companies. But oil companies don’t get subsidies. Rather, like every other business, they’re allowed to take tax deductions for the expenses they incur.

A tax deduction and a government subsidy aren’t the same. When politicians use the terms interchangeably, it misleads many Americans.

Oil-company tax deductions aren’t special favors. They are the standard relief afforded manufacturers, mining companies and other businesses to help recognize the costs of operations. Oil companies can deduct their expenses for things like equipment purchases and rig-technicians’ salaries. The point of these deductions — as for any other industry or individual — is to ensure taxes are only levied on income after expenses.

after all, you must think it is better to post your rants than to quote actual experts like the person who wrote the article:
Bernard L. Weinstein is associate director of the Maguire Energy Institute at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and a George W. Bush Institute fellow.

Mr. Union Man wants to talk about taxes. I bet with the insane amount of money "better union workers" get paid you must get hit pretty hard in taxes. Or do you claim single and nine like most of the "union" people I know and then pay the couple hundred bucks difference at the end of the year?
