No, actually not at all close. I just get tired of people that are ignorant and cry about what they're not getting.
Grow a pair and go out and earn it, you jealous child.
I make a very good living. I am just looking out for others out there working hard and not getting the breaks.

Seems I hit a real nerve. I bet your daddy and mommy give you everything you have and you do not even know how to work hard.

I bring a little over $500,000 in revenue per year to my company. I highly doubt I'm overpaid. But you know everything.
If I only brought in $500,000 in revenue per year to my company I would be fired. You have it too easy. Tell mommy and daddy thanks for the job.

I haven't talked to my dad in 21 years and my mom worked 2 jobs at times to support the family. Nice try though. And my apologies for only pulling in 70-80K a year. At least I'm doing my part and my child appreciates it.

"If I only brought in $500,000 in revenue per year to my company I would be fired." What point are you trying to make with this statement?

He has no point. Just a troll that wants you to respond. I agree with most of what your saying.. However, the 18-29 year olds, and union folks are never going to agree. That ship has sailed and we could all suffer greatly. The 18-29 year olds want the government to do it all for them. If you are rich , then you are greedy and selfish. I just had this "discussion" with my younger 30 year old brother. I am not rich like he thinks but live comfortably. I worked hard and struggled through my 20's and eventually got to where I am. He has anger towards me? He said I was greedy because of my views on entitlements. Then I suggested we compare what u give to charity vs. him. We can do % since I make much more. I showed him that we donated 17% of our gross income to charity, he was at Zero%! See , they talk a big talk but really they just want people like us to give more when they contribute nothing. Here is the shocker, he still thinks he is right and I am wrong? So there is little reason to debated or argue with them. Their mind is made up.

The point is that bringing $500,000 a year is jack shit, but you think it is a big deal.

It is not a big deal or they would not have cut your pay. When they fire you, you will be the first to wonder why. And the reason will be because they could.

How much more will they cut your pay before you care??

So that is the problem, you can only have a dicussion with young people and bully them. No wonder when someone in your age bracket disagrees with you, and has facts to back them up you can only call people names.
And I do give to charity each year, I have even given money while I was on unemployment for a short time.

Go have a conversation with your nephew in high school, I you may be able to debate him and win.

. Bully? Actually have no idea how you read that into what I said. No, I love my brother and we did not get angry at one another. He does refuse reason and logic. He has that right. We agree to disagree. Your attitude is one of aggression, frustration and anger. Pretty easy to see from the hateful tone of your posts. He had no facts? I showed him my tax returns for the last few years. I don't boast about what we give to charity and he had no idea. I showed him do maybe he could see that us "rich" like he calls us do way more than he could ever imagine. Funny that you said I resort to name calling, what is your screen name buddy? Yeah, that's what I thought. Good luck with the anger I pray that you find a peaceful outlet for all of that frustration.

Yes Mr. passive agressive.

Who would show anyone thier tax returns, except to degrade someone else. You think you are high and mighty and will show him, by rubbing his nose in your tax returns. Lucky he did not rub his fist in your face.

I find my peace in attempting to educate people like you.

Your man Romney might have won if he showed his tax returns.

Good luck with your passive agressive tendancies

He asked to see them. Romney did show his tax returns. You are very angry my friend. My brother and I love and respect each other. We would never resort to violence, as you suggest, I feel sorry for people like you. If you don't agree with me, that's ok. However, it seems that anyone that doesn't agree with you should be punched or attacked personally. America has changed. I am 40, I am guessing you are 28. Maybe one day you can respect another ones views without verbal abuse or suggestions of physical action. Until then, we are done here son.

You still are not close.

My family has never given me a dime. And I didn't walk into a family business either.

I worked my way through college and today I make a nice living.

Want to try again dipshi7?

I am older than you and you should respect your elders.

The Jewish culture has a saying that a man is not worth anything until he is 40 and been broke twice.

I am well over 40 been broke twice and today I could retire and never work a day again.

I do not know which is more pathic your brother for asking to see your taxes or you showing them to him.

And I never suggested hitting anyone, that is your passive agressiveness showing through. Find a good counselor and work through your issues

Hate to burst your bubble but greed created the U.S. This country was absolute shit after the Civil War. Enter James D.Rockefeller with his oil, Andrew Carnegie with his trains/steel, and J.P. Morgan with his unethical style of business. In a race to see who could have the most money, we made all the way to the left coast, built our cities upwards, brought electricity to the masses, and created gasoline. Racism and religion will bring the U.S.down. Or some sort of virus

These men did what they did because they had massive EGOS, which is fine. They could have been taxed at 95% and they still would have done what they did. Truly great people do it for thier EGOS not so much the riches.
Sam Walton started Wal-Mart under a 91% top tax rate but did that stop him? No it did not stop him because he wanted to be the biggest and money was a byproduct of his dream.
The 91% tax bracket was put in place to control greed and now with an effective tax rate of 15% we have lots of greed.
