My son goes to Owensboro Church of Christ on Hwy.60. We love it! I have also heard good things about Settle Memorial. Good luck!

Precious Blood Daycare has an excellent pre-school program. Monti, who owns the daycare and runs the preschool program, previously ran the pre-school at Wee People Daycare, and worked for years in the pre-school at Settle Memorial.

She is great.

Do you mean daycare or preschool? I'm surprised Hastings Early Learning Center is never mentioned.

Maximilian Montessori Academy - Have been to 3 different pre-schools around the area with my kids and MMA stands out above and beyond from an education standpoint.

Hastings is the best. She uses a Montessori approach and most of her teachers have taught for years an years. Both my girls went there and were so much farther ahead when they started kindergarten. They are in high school now and still talk about ms sue

My son just finished one year there. He loved the science stuff they did. But he hated learning the alphabet. He seemed to love Hastings and Mrs. Sue. She really does care about the kids.

The alphabet is not something a child can learn in one year. Hopefully your son has another year of preschool left, because I know it took at least 2 years for my boys to learn it!

That really depends on the child but it is not abnormal for a child to not have complete comprehension of the alphabet until around the age of 5.

No, he starts kindergarten in August, but he also had three years of headstart as well. He's a very bright child with an amazing memory; he just absolutely refused to learn the alphabet. He loves the science type stuff. He's also a bit ADHD, so concentration is not his strong point!

They have to be three, I think. But they have to be potty trained. And It's $1100 a semester for part-time.

My daughter started @ 2 1/2. It is 1100 per semester , but she does have monthly payment plan.
