Its funny because im sitting in a breakroom right now with 15 guys that all make over $75,000 a year and none of us do drugs. 50% of the losers u know might do drugs but not the rest of the population. U have no idea what would happen to society if 50% of them used drugs
This kind of forum is like a drug. A lot of people post here when they should be working.

A lot of people also can have a job and post on topix for recreational use. So, yeah, I guess it is like a drug. People can't work 24/7 and everyone poops! Ever think that some people only post when they're on the pot?(No pun intended) As long as your priorities are straight, you can have your cake and eat it too.

Some people are homeless because they are severely mentally ill. They fall through the cracks. We should feel compassion toward the homeless and thank God we are not in the same situation.

Just remember that EVERY SAINT HAS A PAST AND EVERY SINNER HAS A FUTURE! Through Christ we all have purpose sometimes the homeless can teach you a lot I've met a few that have more faith in God than I had its because they aren't smothered by all the material things we are. Next time you see a homeless person it could be an angel God sent down to test us?

Not in Owensboro yet worth the drive.

Alcoa -Warrick County Newburgh IN- hiring off and on for the next two years.

You can make $35,000 -$80,000+ yearly. A little depends on what department you work in but mostly on the amount of over time your willing to work.
Must pass drug test, also random drug & alcohol testing & it's amazing how many younger adults can not pass either!
Age of hiring 18 & older here lately it's older for the reason stated above^

Ha, what a load of crock. I would say its about
50/50 on the successful not doing drugs, they are just better at hiding it. That doesn't include junkies, there is a difference between those that do drugs and junkies.
You're right. There is a lot of successful people who do drugs, you'd never expect it out of them either.

I know someone who does this!!

I have a loving and supportive family. Don't receive any type of welfare what so ever. Work anywhere from 40 to 60 hours a week. Have my own office. Take lunch or breaks whenever I want. I make over 50K a year. Two week vacations. Sick days. Paid holidays. Health insurance. My company requires pre employment drug testing and random screening there after. I smoke 'pot' recreationally and know of about 25% of my employees that do as well. There are ways to pass drug test and its very easy to hide this lifestyle from coworkers. Many of my friends do not partake in this 'drug' and do not know of my choice to do so, at least they haven't let on that they know. I consider myself successful and very happy with my life. Drug testing welfare recipients will only hurt the children and create more ppl out to get their 'high' in other ways that may not be as healthy. Just my two cents.

I struggle to get by. I have a daughter and receive no gov assistance solely bc I can get by without it. Anytime I have extra money it only gets spent on my lil girl. Anyone getting assistance should be saving what money they are spending on their children to help them get off the programs that are designed to help people get on their feet. By doing recreational drugs they are being selfish and taking away from their kids. These people are lifers who have no desire to live on their own, they will mooch off anyone as long as they can. If you are on assistance try to have some self respect and work towards living on your own instead of relying on honest ppl that are struggling. Be an adult!

We need some welfare, we need a check, we need some funds, we need food stamps, we need a medical card, we need a government program...
