The OMP board dropped the ball on this one. Who wants to live next to a farm in the city, technically a suburb? If they want sheep let them move. An article at www.oinionhotline.com stated it more eloquently than I have here. Why stop at sheep? Why not approve horses, bulls, calves, potbellied pigs, baby chicks and ducks. How about a peacock for an alarm system? Or maybe, MOVE TO A FARM. You are ruining my property value.

Did these people have sheep before it became a suburb. If so then they should be allowed to keep them. Not their fault so many people decided to build a house there.

You live in Thoroughbred East. It's a mediocre neighborhood at best. If you want to pretend you're high class, move into a better neighborhood.

You are the dimwit, all I did was ask a question. If the man had the sheep before everyone decided to build houses there he should be allowed to keep them. Did you let your brains run out your @ss?

I don't see any difference in owning sheep instead of a dogs. I think the neighbor having a sheep would actually help raise your property value. Me personally, I would like to have a goat and a few chickens. More people are getting into homesteading and it is not uncommon in larger cities.

You people are off subject. Sheep are not like dog. If they were than the sheep could be living indoors, like some people do their dogs. I worked at the Daviess County Health Dept. and would have issued a notice of violation of the Animal Control Ordinance.
You eat sheep, not dogs or cats, truly domesticated animals. The subdivision was there first. Property values have fallen in part to the zoo next door. Go to opinionhotline.com to learn more. Imagine raising an elephant from a calf to a full grown domesticated pet. OMP should approve that also since the children have grown accustomed to it. Move to a Farm.
