I was just wondering if there are any decent jobs in owensboro that dont require a degree. I know swedish match starts at like 16 but is there anything else? ive hear its impossible to get on there. I dont care what it is, i dont mind working. I just need something thats atleast starting out at 12 an hour, i got a wife and 3 kids to take care of.

My qualifications are:
1.6 years factory experience
1 year management experience
G.E.D/ Some college (IT field)

Well, some college equals zero college without a degree. It looks like you jump jobs pretty quickly too. What's wrong with your current job? You might be out of luck and have to go back to factory work. There's really not much out there without a degree. You could try us bank and see if they have any openings. There's just not much in Owensboro.

Sara Lee starts at 12 for temps with hite after 90 days. Its hot and sometimes hard work but benefits are awesome. Apply at manpower downtown. Lots of temps come in for a few hours and quit because they dont want to do the work so they are always hiring. Hours can be hard to get in the beginning but its a good job if you stick with it.

You need to figure on alot more than $12.00 per hour with wife and children. My husband makes $15.00 per hr, and all that amounts to is grocery, gas and misc money. We pay bills and supply or savings with my business i have.

i have money in savings right now. i was making 50k a year but got laid off.$12 an hour would be enough to keep our basic needs met, however anything that pays more is nice lol. and i dont really jump, ive only had a couple jobs. i started college whenever i got laid off. and ive had my mining certification for a while, however no matter how much i call any of them i never seem to find anything for inexperienced.

im currently working in a factory, but it only pays 9 an hour and impossible to get overtime. if i could get 10-12 hours overtime per week then this job would pay enough.
