Please explain why being gay is the worst sin? Makes no sense that all these people goin on about gay people are the same ones that lie, cheat on their spouse, steal, have babies out of wedlock, live in sin, live like sloths etc. it is a sin to do a lot of things even for a man to grow his hair long yet being gay is the sin people want to condemn you for. Why dont people just worry about themselves and tend to their own sins instead of acting like they some authority over somebody else.
why

It's not. Do you and if you're a good person, God will still let you into Heaven.

Growing your hair long is not a sin, but the rest of those things you listed are including being gay. We are supposed to love each other regardless. You really should read your Bible instead of listening to what others say about it.

People want to pick and choose what they want from the bible. Being gay is just something that most bible thumpers can say they have never experienced. They have lied, stole, and ofcourse taken the Lords name in vain. Don't forget the covet part or keeping up with the Jones's! Yep, I guess being against homosexuality makes them feel better for ignoring their sins! No wonder Christianity is fading! WAKE UP!!!

It most certainly is a sin.... but no more of a sin than lying, cheating. Or stealing. We are all guilty of sin but we can still get to Heaven.

Homosexuality IS a sin of which there are many. No person can be perfect, that is why we need Jesus. You can not be good enough to get into heaven. You will only see heaven if you accept Jesus into your heart and life by making a profession of faith. This is not a "church" thing, or a "religion" thing - it is a personal thing. A relationship between you and your creator.

I wish gays would quit using the "born this way" mantra. I was born with a bad attitude but that doesn't excuse my behavior if I act poorly and cause problems. People are born White, Black, Hispanic, etc. People are born male or female (except for rare birth defects), but I do not believe people are born gay any more that I believe they are born drug addicts. You might have a predisposition toward a certain sin but who you CHOOSE to have sex with is a CHOICE. No different than the heroin addict saying he can't help but stick needles in his arm. He might be predisposed to have addiction issues but the use of drugs is a choice. A homosexual might be attracted to the same sex but the choice to have sexual relations is still something you choose.

People want to feel better about their sin so they look for ways to make it OK. God says sin in not OK, period. Will we still sin? Yes. But the point is to constantly try to become a more righteous person, do good in this world, love and help others. The government can legislate gayness in every state and remove God from our schools, buildings, money, etc but the end still plays out the same. You were not created to answer to your government. You WILL one day answer to your creator whether you believe or not.

I have no problem with any group of people. I treat all fairly. I have the right to believe in God and the Bible as His word, just as others have the right not to believe. It seems that most gays feel I have the right to my opinion, just as long as it is the same as their opinion.

If he believed Christ died for his sons, asked forgiveness for those sins, and then repented he went to heaven. It's the same for everyone... Good or bad

He was a Buddist. A saintly man. Do you think he made it through the gates for being good?

Having ling hair for a man is a sin. Eating yeast bread is punishable by death, but the while bible is a lie stolen from other texts from other religions. Jesus is not real. Nazareth wasn't even a city when Jesus supposedly lived. Christians are nothing more than hate filled cult members who are going no where when they die but in a hole in the ground. They convince themselves through fantasy and delusional that they were created by a god that looks out for them because they can't mentally cope with the thought of death. Simpletons.

You are incorrect. You do not know near as much as you think you do. Once again, just to be clear, you are incorrect.

Only one way there in your eyes, with your religion. I don't think Buddist refer to the "everafter" as walking through the pearly gates anyway. Whatever, wherever is, I'm sure Ghandi is there. He was very faithful and loyal to his religion. Much like the Pope is to his. He's def in a "better place", there is no doubt about that.
