I have heard nothing but good things about it. Good luck on your journey and know that a lot of people pray for you on a daily basis.

I find it to be a very religious based program, or it used to be a few years ago. Always condoning snitching on the other members and will kick you out if you don't. I hear it's got the lowest success rate of any rehab in town. I'm sure it works if you work it but the people trying to fake it til they make it usually don't last long in it lol.

I was in it two years and it is all brainwash.....I couldn't sit through another bullshit aa meeting and listen to all the sob stories if they paid me 100 dollars a pop. If you have half a brain and make a few different choices you will be fine.

Well how the hell r we to do tht if u require us to do all these meetings an community hours an teach classes !!!!!! All I have to say is if u want to straighten ur life up then go to this program an work it right !!!! But make sure u have a family member or someone taken care of u cause the program is for alllllllllllllll the mone they can get u treat us like damn kids an u set us up for failure an expecting so damn much from us tht it's maken sone of us want to go back out an do what we did to make money give us a break !!! U cant make nobody want to be in recovery !!!!!! An tht it's all up to u an ur higher power !!!!! Some people use paying those fees as an excuse for not paying their child support. The program needs to make sure these people are taking care of their kids first and their fees somewhere down the line. Maybe, it's just one particular person who's using that as an excuse. After all, this person isn't involved with or give a damn about his/her kids anyway...doesn't even call. He/she is only behind about $5000 in child support. This person will be visiting jail/prison again in the very near future.

Exactly right. What people don't realize that places like that are a money-making operation. Lighthouse is just one of them places that makes it real clear, it is all about the money and you will never finish that program unless you pay them. And they start charging long before you are even allowed to work.

I work for an agency that has a rehab program and it does costs a ton of money to house, feed and provide therapeutic services to the residents. Most addicts assume that somehow the government pays for everyone to attend rehab. I dont mean to be mean, but most addicts found enough money to feed their addictions, without regard to supporting their families, so they should able to find money for paying for their own treatment.

And for the poster who said someone "ONLY" owed $5,000 in back child support...that is a ton of money!!

I see a lot of excuses in these posts and it's obvious people arent taking repsonsibility for their own sobriety...sorry but you have a long way to go still!

Well first of all we did do anything to get r fix an no this treatment DOES NOT feed us or the government only helps some tht need it but there isn't no concealing on site an for to say we found a way to get r fix well thts why ee went to treatment is to find a new way of life not to be set up for failure by paying out the ass for fees an haven to go to so many meeting an spending time with the new people tht come in an teaching classes we r tryn to have a life without being on drugs an it's hard as hell when ur not dealing anymore an ur haven to get a job N pay for gas to get there an back we ain't in active addiction an what we suppose to do steal money to pay for gas to drive in town from the country everyday an plus pay bills an work an so no my family only suffered cause I wasn't there

So, who do you think should pay for the expenses involved in your treament? Do you think these treatment programs costs the people who run them nothing? If your one job doesnt pay enough...get two. I work two jobs to pay my bills including any medical treatment....I dont expect it for free.

An I dnt expect it for free an I work a full time job tht equals 2 jobs cause I work overtime but when r we suppose to do our meetings an classes an community if we r working so much just to pay these fees I want to pay what I owe regardless but I dnt think they should hold us back from completion of the program cause of us own money an I dnt want a free ride by no means but I do expect to be able to finish my program in the 3 years I signed up for an not have to be homeless cause we have to put lighthouse as r first priority an try an work an pay bills too

I just saw a previous posts that stated the fees are ten dollars a week for outpatient? Wow...I thought we were talking about a higher amount of money. So, Im assuming you can not leave this program for legal reasons?
Look, Im glad people do decide to get treatment...although most dont go into it voluntarily unless they have jail time hanging over their head. But, if the programs are expected to continue to operate, they have to charge people. Im just suprised every time people call inquiring about our program, or others, and assume it's free.
