We have to defend ourselves from the North Koreans and the Iranians. The whole purpose of the 2nd amendment is so we can defend ourselves from such threats. The constitution seems to make it clear that personal nuclear weapons are a right that shall not be infringed.

Even this very day, people are saying it's insane to talk about gun control when North Korea is threatening war against us. But doesn't that make it equally insane to prohibit personal nuclear weapons? It's one thing to fight fire with fire, but it's something else entirely to fight fire with candles. The guns people are so stridently advocating are equivalent to candles against nuclear weapons.

I know you can't use personal nuclear weapons for hunting rabbits. But hunting is not the purpose of the 2nd amendment. With millions of personal nuclear weapons, we don't have to worry about politics. Obama and Congress can argue all they want, but their arguments would be meaningless, because even if they never get around to fighting back against the North Korean threat and the Iranian threat, lots of other people can go ahead and fight back.

This is the very definition of a strawman fallacy.

You're free to mock gun owners, but at least put together a better argument than that. That was just lazy.

Do you have a better argument? Go ahead. Shoot.

I don't have an argument, I'm just saying, this one was poorly put together. It's clear, however, that you're attempting to mock supporters of the second amendment.
So many logical fallacies in this argument as well.

2/10 for effort.

Please explain how the posters argument is poorly put together. Also, pointing out those actual "logical fallacies" would be helpful to you're argument, rather than just your unsubstantiated claims. The true straw man argument here is your misrepresentation that the poster is attacking the second amendment. I think the point was to illustrate absurdity by being absurd, which is exactly what partisan hacks do when they read whatever they want to read from various parts of the constitution.
