OMHS?

How do they treat their employees? Or should I just drive to Evansville? I am currently with Methodist in Henderson... I am moving to the Owensboro area in the very near future. Any and all feed back is welcomed. TiA!

Decent benefits, yearly bonus, small xmas bonus, family activities throughout the year. There are people here that drive from Evansville to work there so there must be something worth coming for. Individual department managers vary. Theres good ones and some not so great but that is everywhere.

If the foundation is sinking wont they have to condemn the building? I thought they had to have state inspectors come to give their ok on every step of the build. Wouldn't they have to rebuild huge parts of the hospital if it was sinking so much the windows were breaking? I would think at that point it would be impossible to hide so many problems from the inspectors.

The difference between a moron and a M O R O N, is that the M O R O N is not just a moron, but is also spaced out.

OP:
I have an advanced degree and board certified in my specialty and they apparently don't find me qualified to work there. I went to Evansville. In the last five months, four nurses from OMHS have come to my department. They all say they make more money in Evansville. If I were you, and the drive was a nonissue, I'd stick with Evansville.

Must depend on what department you work. I left Evansville to start working here closer to home. And I got a pay raise. And our dept pays more for certification.
