I wish they would sell me their ice machine for the patients. The ones that are on every floor. That ice is like crack!! I hope they still have that kind at the new hospital.

Why not import from CN, I am a sales representive of a well known hospital furniture in Jiangsu CN. The products with reliable quality sell at surprisingly low price.

Hospital beds are much cheaper than that. I sale new durable medical equipment at my business. If you have a love one that's in need of one Medicare will pay for it! If you go to Danhauers they rent them out through Medicare and they have a program that if you can't afford the 20% difference that Insurance doesn't pay, they have a program that will write off the difference. Hit them up, they are good people! Like I said... I sale Medical Equipment, but not much into renting out large items due to the fact I don't have a lot of storage space.
Also try checking out Don Fares at his shop on Breckinridge St. "Dons Consignment" he's a really nice guy and he sometimes gets hospital beds in for awesome prices! Hit him up!! Take care and if I can help in anyway, message me back and ill see what I can do to help!
Your a moron comparing a home care split spring bed to a real hospital bed. Yes new hospital beds cost around $10,000. The ones you buy cost $325-350 and you rent them out for $110 a month to medicare part b.

Sorry man... They just won't sell items in hospital! It is a waste but they don't see it that way! Last year I watched them throw away a warehouse full of hospital equipment and several people offered money for items and they would not sell then anything. It's just a very sad situation.
All of that stuff was old, outdated and or broke. This was hauled off for scrap because that was all it was good for.

Sweetie I work there and it's pronounced "staph" not staff lol
Boy I hope you do not work at the hospital. We are all in trouble if you really do.

"Staph" and "Staff" are both PRONOUNCED the same way. They are spelled differently and thus have different meanings.

I wouldn't buy anything from the old hospital. I can't tell you how many people I personally know or others that know people who went in there for one thing and then ended up with staph from being in there. If they really are transferring mattresses to the new hospital then it's eventually going to be the same thing there. Basically it's going to be the same bad habits, staph, and poor medical treatment except in a more modern building. Even had a doctor here years ago tell me that if I or anyone in my family gets ill or seriously injured here to get them stabilized here and then transferred to St. Mary's or Louisville. The hospital mine as well just be a giant convenient care.
Staph is everywhere dumb dumb!!!!

Mr. Who... Your the moron.... This guy never compared a hospital bed to ones that they rent out through Medicare! Upon reading this post, you can clearly see that this guy is only trying to help out an individual that needs a hospital bed. Yes your right that the ones that are rented out through Medicare are nothing like the ones they have in the hospitals.

The article in the newspaper about them using it for other things was rediculous. I work there and know for a fact that they cannot do that. They will by law be burning everything. The newer computers have been donated to another country. Nothing has happened yet though because the are COMPLETELY out of money

How do you know when you stay in a hotel your not sleeping in a dead persons bed? A very small percent die in the hospital or no one would ever go there.
