this is merely my opinion about the topic of industrial leasing being sucky. if your looking for an apartment and decide to not choose industrial for the mere fact that some people are having issues with them you must be confused. every place you RENT from is clearly not going to be perfect. you get to view the property before you sign the lease and from where me and my boyfriend stay we havent had any issues. the workers are very nice and when we moved in we did report issues we had and they were fixed quickly. as mentioned earlier they have authorization to come into the apartment whenever they please, granted they do own the place! seems to me the only problem is the OMU bill due to it being so overly priced, not industrial leasing issue though.

I have rented from them for 2yrs now and have never had a problem,if something needs fixed they come fix it the same day. I think they are good landlords myself. And if they do come in while I am not home they always leave a note telling me they were here.

I rented an apartment from Barron Ent. They sold the property to them. After Industrial took over it was crazy. Nothing got fixed, they made changes to the lease that I originally signed with Barron. I refused to sign the updated lease and needless to say we parted ways. It wasn't a horrible experience but definately wouldn't recommend them. They should have honored my original lease.

Looks like yall didn't read that persons post right. They Arnt mad about them coming, they are mad they took it on their selfs to charge them that large amount without their knowledge . Really it stuff like that should be fixed before rented out. They shouldn't depend on renters to "find" things wrong. I'm a cop and I think if they tried with a judge the acumen loards buddy up with, they could win it. And two I know landlords who treat others bad but let others live all peachy. You and the post above you seem like the only two. Unless your the same person. "Crazy" give me your email ill see what I can do to shut these people up. Yes I have had a problem with them as well. So I'm all fore crazy.

Thanks. But no thanks. I don't give my email out to ppl I dunno. It's whatever. It was a heated moment when I posted it. I'm sure god will take care of it all and one day they will get theirs. But if we have any more problems as far as them treating is wrong ill be sure to contact someone. But its Deff going to be higher than a cop. No offence .

Btw I don't wanna make them have a bad name. They do it their selfs by treating some of us the way they do. My dad is a retired ERA realitor in nashville. We know what's right and what's wrong. But yea, I'm usually not the typ to make sure ppl don't get any bussniuss bc I know what their job is but they just handle things so wrong. All u who disagree are prolly the ones they let off Scott free. But enough with this topic I'm done with it. I know what steps I need to take from here on out if something happens again. They will get their money.. This time.

Okay. That's understandable. Just remember, there are always things you can do to take people like this down. You may not be the typ to do so on anyone but sometimes people need a relality check. Good luck to you and your family.
P.s. You may not need my help but me and a few others are ready for these people to go down. It is against the law to wrongfully charge someone without proof. They have done it a few times already and all of you let them get away with it. So I am letting people above me aware of this rather you want me to or not.

I rented from them for 2 1/2 years and had only minor problems. If something went wrong they took care of it in a somewhat timely manner. If I were to rent again I would definately go with them. Of all the apartments we looked at, Industrial Leasing had the nicest at the best price. I have a cat and I didn't need a pet deposit or any bs like that.

That's good. But that's the thing, they have some ppl that they treat desent and some people who they do wrongly. And I personily know they are like that. They treated my sister like a queen but me and my hubby bad. About like what some have said. They didn't know we were sisters either so I guess that's why they thought it was ok to treat ppl dif. And where I lived they had pet deposits. And from what I hear still do.

I have rented with Industrial Leasing on and off for years and currently on my 3rd year with them. I dont agree with e everything they do but as far as rental companies in Owensboro they are BY FAR the best!

Every apartment I have rented has been in great condition and clean. No bugs, no gross carpet.

Last year my dryer went out and the guy came the next day. He worked on it about 2 hours and then wheeled it out and brought back a brand new dryer. Didnt cost me a dime. Didnt say it was my fault and I am amazed because we ran it daily.

You can have pets for a little extra a month instead of crazy extra fees. Most places in Owensboro are very anti-pets.

I have paid rent a few days late before and never had any issues with them. I think if you had such a terrible experience with them there was bound to be a reason but Industrial Leasing is my first choics for renting in Owensboro and judging by how quickly their apartments go I would say they are doin somethin right.

Don't even get my started on these a-holes!!

The first time I tried renting from these people it was such a cute apartment just right for me and my daughter I told him I wanted it and he was like I need the deposit right now IN CASH I'm sorry I think that's weird so I was like well I don't care $545 in cash on me so let me run to the bank, get the cash and I'll call you as soon as I get it and we can meet back here or whatever and he's all like okay! So anyways. I get the money, I call no answer so I leave a message no call back...jerk so a couple hours later I call back and leave another message. This went on for 2 days!!!! I finally gave the f up.

Then...

Me and my fiancé were looking for a 3 bedroom and we found one we liked, I told him about my dog and he said it was fine just be extra a month or whatever...FINE! so we move in blah blah blah, our dryer stopped working took them forever to fix it, our kitchen ceiling leaked and they NEVER Fixed it, then one time I had my dog out on the leash and he was barking at another dog across the way and idk WTF happened but I got a phone call the next day and they were like no pets allowed, he was barking and if you don't get rid of him I will myself...uh no you effin wont! We were two days late on rent bc we had to take my daughter to Louisville for an MRI well when we got home and my fiancé was dropping us off at home then going to pay the rent they had already went and evitced us saying they were taking us to court and stuff bc we were late on rent...two days! I left a message on their machine saying we were gonna be late and they did it anyways so we moved out, we rent with century now, but they NEVER showed up for court. They are jerks and I'd never rent from them again!!!

Shane Wilson is not the only owner of this rental company. He and the other owners own other big companies tht are not just local, and have tons of money (probably from screwing people) and a law suit from anyone over a $500 repair will not phase them. You may even win but they will write a check and go to lunch at the Country Club afterwards. Good Luck

Sorry but that's a lie. Don't get me wrong, I hate Ind leasing too, but I know for a fact they won't EVICT you for being 2 days late. You get like a 6 day grace period, then late charges after that, and THEN they mail a letter around the 12th of the month saying you have X amount of days to pay or they will evict you. So I seriously doubt your entire story....

Also, they take checks for the deposit, not cash only. And I highly doubt the deposit was that much anyway...
