I've heard the exact opposite of that. That, yes, the layout is confusing but that a lot of time was spent doing mock drills.

Zero training????? That is the craziest. They had us over there all the time. We don't spend hours upon hours of our lives in college and become the trained and skilled people we are today with ZERO training.

That neg remark was probably from someone with a GED. Only wishing they were making what an RN and other college educated person makes at the hospital working 3 days a week!

True, but you have to attend college and get certified as well.

You have to get an associates in applied science and then attend a two year nursing program. The new hospital is pushing all nurses to further and get bachelors as well.

I have known several people with GEDs go back to tech school for nursing credentials. I work in the social services field, which requires a masters. That mean a lot more college hours than a nurse. Glad you're proud of your profession, but don't act like you're above anyone because of your associate's degree. Most of the girls living in the villa apartments are going to school for nursing. How many of these girls seeking nursing degrees are on a free ticket from the government? That's not really who I want caring for me or my family.
