Everytime I shut my car off antifreeze pours out of my resevior. 3 months ago I had the same problem and took it to the shop. my fan clutch was bad and I needed a new radiator cap. Now its doing it again. What could be wrong? Thermostat been changed, water pump new, heater core new.

I did that too about 5months ago because it turned to brown slush. Its not slush now but the color in the radiator is brown again. So im wondering if I need another flush or maybe my radiator cap is bad again.

Don't put much money into it. It's a money pit. You would save a lot of money over the long run by getting rid of it and getting something that's not so old.

I third the head gasket suggestion. If you've tried all the minor stuff already, then it is probably a good bet that it is the head gasket. I just had a vehicle do the same. Replaced intake gaskets, thermastat, flushed radiator, New cap...nothing worked. Wasn't economical to replace the head gasket, so I bought something else.

Does it smoke

No it doesn't smoke, nor does my oil look milky.
If only u could trust the auto shops around here I would take it to them. Im just trying to get an ideal of what it is before I have to use the last resort(a mechanic shop)

I have the same problem not trusting mechanics. I always wonder if they are trying to pull one over on the chick with a good job. There is a little place in Breckinridge county called O'Rielys BP. Small little country type gas station and the mechanics are great and reasonably priced. If you're interested I can get a number. It might be a bit Of a drive, but rest assured you won't get ripped off.

I get so damn tired of hearing the "pull one over on a chick" most mechanics are not out there to screw people, and I hate the ones who have given us a bad name take it to a dealership, much more reliable, alot more responsible, and if you aren't satisfied you can go all the way to the top and talk to the brand (chevy gmc ford dodge) and get them to make it right but don't assume ALL of us are out to screw people

I took one to a dealer once. Told them that randomly it wouldn't start. They checked the battery, said it had a dead cell. Tried to sell me a battery, but I wanted to talk it over with my husband first. So they charged me $25 for checking my battery. Drove to Autozone, said hey how much do you charge to check a battery? They laughed out loud. Checked my battery, it was fine. So, hmmmmm. Not all dealers I'm sure, but I honestly don't think he would of pulled that on a guy who might call him out on it.

I wouldn't trust autozone to test the batteries in my tv remote!

If you head gaskets were bad your oil would be milky and your car would run bad. I've had a bad one before. You're definitely over heating. There could be several things causing that. A clog, bad thermostat, water pump. Even if new they might be bad. I'd google all you problems.

Yeah take it to the dealer so they can charge 3-4 times what anyone else would.

Not true at all. The vehicle I had problems with ran fine and had no milky oil at this moment (though it had previously).
