I work at Alcoa. It depends what department you work in.
Shifts range from straight, drop, rotating, some no OT, others up to 64 hours a week.
Pay range depends some what on department and how much OT you want to work.
Low range 40 thousands, 60-80 with OT and holidays.
Some coworkers make 90.

Maybe with a ton of overtime plus weekends. The pay is good but not that high. Maybe 500-600 a week on 40 hours.

That most are only working 3 out of 4 weeks a month. One week a month they draw unemployement. So add that up it ISNT all that. Rumor has it that Kraft will buy them out and cut employment and wages. Other rumor their closing the doors. Ragu sauce is to runny anyway. Yuck!

There is work if you have been there a while. My husband is working another 13 and 1 run. Plus he works 12 hour shifts 2-3 days each week.

Tests to get a job at Domtar are pretty tough. Brush up a little before you take them.
