The key to a good landlord tenant relationship, if you're the tenant, is to pay your rent every month and on time. I did so for four years and never had one iota of trouble with Century Property Management. Anytime I had a problem there was someone there to fix it within a day or so. They even helped me get into a cheaper place for year so I could save on my rent while I was preparing to purchase a house. I bought my house through Coldwell Banker so Century had no reason to help me out, but they did. They're good people if you're not a deadbeat.

I disagree. Always paid my rent on time. When I moved out, I left the place spotless. I had the carpet cleaned, just like the move out instructions said, and presented them with the receipt. They still deducted over $200 for a carpet cleaning, saying they decided to have it re-done. I had no say so, and was not consulted first. So I ended up paying over $300 to have the carpet cleaned in 3 rooms. I would have been better off not cleaning them at all, if they had them re-cleaned at their whim.

I have to STRONGLY disagree. I had several issues with them. Not even a WEEK after I had moved into an apartment through them, someone backed a U-haul into the corner of my apartment. I filed a report, took photos, and did everything necessary on my part. It took them THREE entire months to get around to fixing it, all the while I'm losing money on my heating/cooling bills because of the damage. All maintenance requests took at least 2 weeks to be fulfilled. When my air-conditioner started leaking into the apartment, it took them a week to get someone to fix it. Until then, I had to keep it turned off. AND, after they came to fix it, I had shut all the doors to the apartment, except for the ONE room that access was needed to, and the a/c repairman went into my room (which was shut), and grabbed a JUST CLEANED towel to clean mop up the muddy water which he had spilled onto the floor, and left the dirty, nasty towel sitting on my COUCH.

After I had moved out, and cleaned the carpets, and literally left everything in better condition than when I moved in, they had the tenacity to claim that one of the closet's floors was stained by cat urine, despite the fact that there was no cat in the apartment, and that I had spent $200 to clean the carpet professionally.

Suffice to say, I strongly recommend people AVOID Century Property Management. They are nothing but a bunch of liars, crooks, and thieves. I had several items wind up missing AFTER maintenance had been done on the apartment, so I wouldn't be surprised if they stole things from me. SO glad I moved out of that shithole.

Wow, guys. Thanks for the responses. And to "lol" I have to completely disagree with you. In fact, your reply has me wondering if CPM doesn't sign your checks. I am a wonderful tenant and have NEVER been late on my rent. Not in these apartments or anywhere I have ever lived in the past. I have no complaints against me either.... What gets me the most is the attitude Century Property Management takes with tenants like me. I called the other day on a bill they had mistakenly applied to my account and they accused me of lying! Come to find out, after I persisted, they discovered their mistake and instead of apologizing to me for the inconvenience, were very cold and unapologetic. Needless to say, I will NOT be renewing my lease at the end of the year.

I have been living threw them for a while and just caint afford to move out yet and its aweful there having a registered child malester mowing the lawn and we have reported it several times to them and still they do nothing about it these people r stupid there attitudes suck , maintenance is the worst , and most of all there are lazy and rude at the office, we also had a fire alarm going off in a closet attached to the appartment they said it will go off on its own n a few days sorry were not sending someone over for something small like that! It kept everyone up for a whole night and we broke n the empty closet our selves and sure enough its was just a fire alarm sitting there going off , were they throw the old ones ..there rediculous don't care about there tenets at all our children's safety or ours .. so if you live threw them and you have that short old gangster looking dude with long crazy hair that rides a bike and drives the truck doing your yard work keep your kids far away from him he is on the internet site !!!!

2724 summer pointe court. Cheaply built. good neighborhood. But would never rent from them again.Have actually steered business away from them when my company needed 4 rental homes for incoming executives. Each rented for over 1600.00 mo.
