I'm getting divorced and Im not sure what to do about my last name. Was married for 11 years and have small children who all have their fathers last name. Should I change my name back or just keep it?

IMO if you have kids together then yes... I took my maiden name back after divorce, we didn't have any children and I guess I was just bitter in a way towards him so I didn't want his name. It's your choice though but it might just be easier to keep same name as your children.

If you want people to think you were a slut and just a babby momma change your name back.

If you want people to just think you got divorced keep the same last name as your children.

If you really hate your ex, change your name to add "sucks" to the end. If his name Wright, change yours to Wrightsucks.

You should totally change your last name back even if you have kids. You are no longer with than person so you don't have a right to keep their name.

I don't hate my husband. He is the father of my kids. We both agreed on the divorce, and when I asked him what he thought, he said I could keep the last name if I wanted to, but that it was up to me. Just wondering what others would do. I'd like to keep the same last name as my kids and I'm so used to my married name. But I'm just unsure.

Actually its very logical. Why would you keep the name of a person you are no longer married to? Kids or no kids. If your not married anymore then you are no longer in that family and should be respectful in change your name back. Makes total sense to any intelligent person.

My grandma kept her married name until my uncle turned 18 and graduated high school. It makes sense to have the same last name as your kids because it is pretty confusing otherwise. My son has my maiden name now, while I have the same last name as my stepsons, so that's confusing. But if my husband and I split up, I'd change my name back. We have no kids together and then I'd have the same last name as my son again.
