Please explain those truths you claim society is drifting from. Please give us these cold hard facts you claim Obama/the media tell them. You're always asking people you disagree with to further elaborate, yet most every statement you make are the same generalized Republican talking points.
Ok, I've got one for you "Do tell". How can you expect this country to continue with its current debt?

You're quite wound up for a Sunday morning, "Joe". Not sure why you're responding to posts meant for others, but I do notice that you've adopted his technique of deflecting questions and changing the subject by constantly rewording your GOP talking points. Yes, we all understand the Republicans newfound concern over the debt. Perhaps if you had actually cared about the debt prior to Obama becoming president, things might be a little better now.

With all due respect, I'm not "wound up" at all. I'm just asking a simple question. And as far as the debt goes. I've always been concerned about it. Now, will you please stop deflecting and answer the question?

How can this country continue with the national debt it's creating?

Talking about drinking the kool-aid. I'm not sure about you, but I have a job. And due to Obama's new tax plan. My paycheck is smaller this week than it was two months ago. Why, you ask? because of his tax plan. Wake up and realize. He can say anything he wants, but the proof is in the details.
Joe, this social security tax hike of 2% was because Obama gave YOU a 2% decrease 2 years ago! It was to help with everyday middle class americans like you and I would have a little more money to spend during the recession. This was voted on and approved by a split congress and was left to expire if things got better. Proof is in my world,my checks are still alot fatter after Obamas been president. Thats why I like the guy.

COME ON MAN! Mitch McConnell has done nothing but obstruct the talks over you guessed it.... wanting to tax the TOP 2%! The republicans( not all but most) are for the well off. I'm not poor,I make a good living but I have never seen a more blatant divide of wealth played into politics on both sides. I wish that they all would just do what is morally and fiscally right. I vote for what ever party is doing what I think is correct. But the republican party and Mitch McConnell have held the country hostage over this tax on the wealthy.

I am at least willing to look at the republicans side of things(unlike you with Obama and the democrats) I like their spending cut to go with any tax hike philosophy. But this whole taking all of us over the cliff for the wealthiest 2% not to have a tax hike. Thats just plain stupidity.

You still didn't answer the question. I'll pose it again to you, for the third time now. How can this country continue with the debt it's building?

What's funny, is you're doing what you blame others of. It's actually very funny.

I don't have an informed argument on the debt we are building. All I know that it is out of control thanks to everyone in Washington.Democrats and republicans alike

Beck is a bit of a nut. The Tea Party is too far to the right. And I don't see much wrong with Palin, she just isn't that smart.
The republicans have some good young prospects that if they could bring them a little more to the center would be viable candidates. Paul Ryan for one would be good if he would back off of some of his more extremist rhetoric. Marco Rubio is another.

I also think Chris Christie of New Jersey would be a really good president . He speaks his mind and just does what needs to be done. His handling of the Hurricane Sandy crisis was unbelievably good.

Try running anything where the deficit doesn't matter, and see how that works out. Our country is no different. It does matter, and it has the potential to ruin this nation.

Tell me how you pay more taxes than the wealthy. Do you know what their tax rate is compared to yours?

And for the record, the Republican's gave in to Obama on the fiscal cliff. They were willing to bend much further than Obama was...for the good of the American people. We'll see how the debt ceiling is handled next month. Did you hear last week when Obama said we don't have a spending problem? Do you agree with that?
