Does anyone actually support or like Obama as a president any more? Should he have been inaugerated again?

I honestly don't know anyone who is in support of having him as our president any longer.

I'm very much in support of him, he's doing a great job. Apparently more than 50% of registered voters agree with me.

You should check the world out from under that rock. I don't know ANY extreme right wing nutjobs, but FOX keeps telling me they're the majority in America.

Of people that I personally know, work with, and work for, in construction industries, I have not met one person in favor of Obamas plans. It doesn't suprise me that people on topix like him. Get back to worrying about the trash drama your always contributing conversation to.

But your frame of reference is a red state that consistently ranks in the bottom 5 in education, health indices, hell just about everything. What do you expect your contemporaries to look like? But outside of all this rural ignorance are people who actually think for themselves and consider things from a more global perspective. You should try it sometime!

No, their business owners, millionaires, actually. With college education. And people who work for what they have, instead of relying on government to give it to them and take care of them.

Nice try. 28 year Army vet. 2 wars and multiple combat tours. I've nearly reached the top of the Non-Commissioned Officer career path.

I'm also a union carpenter and worked on many large and prominent nationally recognized building projects.

It's funny YOU'RE on Topix, but don't consider yourself 'trash'?

It's no surprise the people you 'work for' hate Obama. He's in favor of everything they can't stand. The right to organinze. A living wage for the working man. Jobsite rules. You and your co-workers are the sheeple. Go buy a spine.

Before you even start you stupid name calling.. I'm clearly a centrist. I don't vote along party lines, I vote based on the issue and the candidate that can best address those issues. I've voted for a candidate from each of the top 3 parties in the past 12 years.

Do THEY understand the appropriate use of they're, there and their? Since THEY'RE so educated and rich. Every time you open your mouth hole you only serve to reinforce what the 'free men' in the rest of the country already know.

The saddest part of the entire story is you make it so difficult to support you in the areas where we actually agree because you're SO closed minded everywhere else. Go see what Fox thinks you should say next.

We the sheeple. Thats you, big package. And I would mop the ground with your stupid smart ass, if i felt that it was worth it. and I assure you, I know how to use grammar. I just made a simple mistake, as you have in disagreeing with plain to see facts. AND WORKING FOR... AS IN I AM A CONTRACTOR HIRED TO DO JOBS FOR BUILDERS AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR. You are a perfect example of whats wrong with America. Follow your government who has more control over our every day lives than was ever intended. America wasn't supposed to have a government who makes every decision for it's people. The government taxes businesses so heavily, that it is nearly impossible to be an entrepreneur. BIG BUSINESS RUNS EVERYTHING. Why should a few people get excessively rich, and everyone else make 8 bucks an hour? In the past, America was a better place, without so much government control. The freedom to operate and provide for one another, without excessive government interference is necessary to America. You, my friend are ignorant. Just remember, military is here to protect america, and the constitution. If you don't see that Obama uses what ever means necessary to fit his agenda, then you are the one who is close minded. For example, THERE wasn't an AR-15 used in the school shooting, and, as you SHOULD know, an ar-15 isn't an assault rifle any way. Fully automatic weapons are assault rifles, not a semi automatic rifle that holds more ammo. If you weren't brainwashed you'd find out that Obama should not even be eligible to be our president of the united states. Hopefully, you will start seeing things as they are someday. All of our products come from other countries. Were draining our own economy dry by sending all our money to other people. Using a grammatical error to discredit my statement was a very immature cheap shot. Do you need that to make your self feel smarter? BTW some of the greatest minds in American history lacked a formal education. College doesn't make people smart, or successful. The person does.

Nick, you don't appear to be able to assess the various political positions and align yourself with the one that would be most beneficial to you.

You say you resent big business running everything? Then why in the world are you Republican? They are the "big business" friendly party, and are funded almost exclusively by corporate America.

You say you resent an elite class that amasses all the wealth? What do you think Obama has been saying all this time in his push to raise taxes on the top 2% of earners...people making over $400,000 a year? The Republican party is the party of the ultra rich, who spend obscene amounts of money to protect their assets from taxes through lobbyists. And of course let's not forget the Koch brothers. Do you think they give one whit about your small business, self-made man story?

The biggest illusion ever created is that the Republican party cares about the hardworking little man. That is a total joke. And they've accomplished this lie by distracting you from looking at their greed by pointing you towards a "lower" class of imaginary people who are sitting around living the "good life" on disability, food assistance, etc. And let's not forget gay marriage. They love to distract you with the crumbling of "family values," too.

A certain book that you probably claim to hold in high regard once asked: am I my brother's keeper? God's reply through the judgment of Cain and through the commandments of Jesus is clearly, "Yes, you are." The Democratic party is the ONLY party that attempts to live up to that standard.
RIP GOP

I'm in Kentucky, and I know that big package is smarter than you. He and weisenheimer were both very clear in explaining how pointless your post was in the first place. Are you trying to find some way to circumvent our election results as per our great Constitution of The United States of America? What else do you hate about the American people? Speaking of hypocrisy, I find it hilarious how the right wing sheep complain about the supposed "love affair" liberals have with Obama. Then turn around to claim that no one supports him. A misinformed political obsession really is not helping the anger issues you've exhibited with all of your ranting.
