Why? Isn't this a little bit excessive? It's the flu, you cough and take antibiotics and get over it in a week. It's not the plague. Are they going to come out with a vaccine for the common cold next?

Flu is viral it cant be elimanated with antibotics. So is a cold . Only bacterial infections can be cured with antibotics. I get a flu shot every year at the end of sept, as it takes 30days to work.

Flu shots suck. I will never get one it's all government control. How can they make a shot to make you better and know what type it will be before it ever hits here.

Although, I've never had a flu shot and never will.

Antibiotics for the flu only of it professes to a bacterial infection. The flu is like a mega cold BUT can hit some people like a ton of bricks.

I am against it because almost every person I know that has gotten the flu shot has indeed, ended up with the flu. It seems like every year!!! I whom have never had a flu shot have only gotten the flu twice. And they were at least 5 or 6 years apart. So, if every 5 or 6 years I get the flu, I'm alright with that opposed to getting the shot and getting sick every year.

Would i have without the shots? It's like deer whistles on cars, some people swear by them .

Flu vaccines (the flu shot and the nasal-spray flu vaccine (LAIV)) cause antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. These antibodies provide protection against infection with the viruses that are in the vaccine. The seasonal flu vaccine protects against three influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season. Three kinds of influenza viruses commonly circulate among people today: influenza B viruses, influenza A (H1N1) viruses, and influenza A (H3N2) viruses. Each year, one flu virus of each kind is used to produce seasonal influenza vaccine. Top
