Does anyone know much about these apartments? How much renters insurance do you need to live there? How much is a three bedroom? Good for a family?

How much Renters insurance coverage you get is up to covers your belongings in the event of a loss. I think the monthly rental rates are to high myself (expect the 2nd year rates to go up). The walls are super thin so expect to hear everything your neighbor is doing. Not pleasant! I could literally hear an upstairs neighbor peeing once, if that gives you an idea of how much you can hear. My kids were napping so it was quiet in my apartment at the time and I could hear this while sitting in my living room. It does seem to be an area with a lot of younger, college students.

A plus? They do care about their property so it looks good and the upkeep is good.
way to much!!

They charge out the ass for very little space. They have new management and they don't take care of their apartments like they used to. They, at one time, came in once a month to check alarms, change out filters, spray for bugs; we haven't seen them since before Thanksgiving. They're raise the rent every year too: we're paying $600 for a 2 bed, 1 bath and we're told it's the cheapest in our building. We're getting the heck outta dodge when our lease is up.

They are lying to you about that being the cheapest. My bf and I rent a 2 bedroom, 2 bath for $520 a month. But I agree, we are leaving as soon as our lease is up, they don't fix sh**!

When I lived there I heard everything my neighbors did. I heard them pee, fart, and flush. Heard their alarm clock. Knew when they had sex and how long they lasted. Knew what they were fighting about. Lots of things that weren't my business. We were on an upstairs apartmennt because when we would visit friends who lived downstairs, the 2 year old above them sounded like an elephant stomping around! Also when I lived there, thank goodness my neighbor was out of town, she lived downstairs and her upstairs neighbors bathtub fell through into her bathroom!!!! Could have been really scary situation.

I agree the walls are so thin you hear all your neighbors all the time, and poor management

I live there now and they're nice. Just renewed my lease. They're only 520 a mth. They've also always fixed anything the same day I've called. Nice area!

The apartments are very nice. I agree that the walls are very very thin and the prices are pretty high but if you have the money to spend the 3 bedrooms are well worth it.

I currently live here and actually just moved in not to long ago. Everything was going great until the first week. Our upstairs neighbors stomp and wake my boyfriend and I up, he works nights and I'm currently in college. They stomp going up the stairs then they stomp while in the apartment it literally sounds like the guy rearranges he living room everyday, and I constantly hear something/someone fall as if they are drunk. We complained to the management because they " like to deal with the situation" but I don't think they've actually dealt with it. The man actually called the police on me while I was at home cleaning listening to music (noise disturbance), the police officer said that he didn't think that it was loud but still insisted I turn it down so they wouldn't complain. These people that live above me are very sketchy people I swear it looks like he has a different woman every day. I just wish they would do something about it because its annoying to have to listen to their stomping especially when I'm trying to do homework, or just relax. I would recommend if you do choose to live at brushwood to definitely get an apartment on the top floor.

I lived there for a year and our OMU bill was never under $200 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath tiny apartment. They are very god at fixing things quickly but they sent us a bill when we moved out for things that were already there. We had to show them pictures and proof for them to drop the charges. Their new management is a bit ridiculous on their rules. We got a letter once about the pets peeing on the bushes... If people didn't stop allowing their pets to pee on the bushes and in the grass that they were going to just start charging everyone ( even the people like me who clearly didn't have a pet )
