Uh I'm talking about just the damn place to rent. Not the whole damn party. Don't assume I don't care about my children. If you could comprehend the forum I asked WHERE to have it. Get off your high horse. By your ignorant statement I can assume your flaunt money to buy your kids & everyone elses approval. But I'm sure you'll come back with how much money you spend on parties & guess what?? NO ONE CARES. I could tell how I dropped money on one of childrens parties & turned the place into the damn batcave but you are nothing to me & i could care less about telling you. I'm done with your arrogance & ignorance. Move on to another forum

Just dont hire a clown to stalk and scare ur child, then in the end throw a pie in the childs face...i read on the internet people are doing this! How crazy, isnt there enough mental challenges children face without needing additional therapy for this?
Lmao no worries there. I hate clowns ;)

Ooh, a batcave! You know how to keep up! Good luck with your party! And trust me, nobody cares how much the cake costs - that's explained under Chapter 4 in the Official Party Handbook, written by yours truly,

Do not go to mama leas! The games are always out of order and its all the toys you get with tickets are literally from the dollar tree. Ubounce is fun but expensive. The museum is fun for the kids to play but in the basement where your actual party is its loud bc you will have to share the space with other people having parties and I don't like that. The bowling alley is a good price and unlike most places the minimum amount of guests is only 5 instead of 10 so it is potentially much cheaper and kids still love it. They will put the bumpers up for the kids too. Skates alive is also fun. My kids always had fun there. It's a little expensive but right about the same price as museum and ubounce. If u go to Burger King be careful bc there's only like 6 tables in the play area and you can't reserve them ahead of time so you gotta go early and just reserve them by putting your stuff on them. Also other people and kids can come and go as they please and my daughters third party was there and I have pictures of a random kid sneezing all over her cakes b his parents let him join the party! I don't recommend Burger King or McDonald for these reasons. You can also check out Owensboro Gymnast. My girls have fun there too. Don't forget you can have parties at the movie theater too.

You should be a little more sensitive. Some people don't have a lot if money. On the other hand,$75 won't get you a party anywhere.

I didn't even think about the movie theater! Thank you! I didn't figure I could get anywhere for $75 but I wanted to ask just in case. Skates Alive is another one I didn't think about. I have a 13yr old so it's been AWHILE since I had to think parties for a small fellar lol. Thank you all!

I forgot to ask! Does the movie theater base your tickets on income? I'm on Section 8 housing, disability and food stamps, and will be bringing my other 6 children so it may get expensive.

Wow. Look out. Someone was so clever to reply as me. Omg how original. For your info, I have 3 children, I do not have welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, or section 8. I work for what I have & what I spend. With no help from anyone. But WTF ever makes you smile sweetie. I hope you're more original in your real life than on here. Have a good day

Nice try Amanda. What a bitch. Lilly, when is the kids birthday? I had my daughters at yellow creek park, but hers was in June. It's $40 including deposit, but when you turn the key In and they make sure you picked up, you get $20 or $25 back. You get your choice of shelters and can use it all day. There are grills, but they usually need to be cleaned first. The kids had a blast running around and playing on the playgrounds. El toribios will let you use party room for free, everyone gets chips and drinks and can order their own food if they want a meal, but there's nothing to really do except eat and open presents.

No worries. The mature ones could tell you didn't post that! I have been lucky enough to have had a bday party for my kids just about any place in owensboro. Including my own home and the park. I totally understand how it can be expensive. I was a single parent of 3 for 11years. No welfare, child support, or support from the father or my family. So a $70 cake is NOT realistic. But the best place we had a party was the ymca. They get to go to the pool, wall climbing. You get a private room. To which they decorate according to your theme. We did cupcakes. Less mess and faster. You only have 2 hours. The kids LOVED it! Don't think it cost that much either.

I was looking to have his party Jan 20th. What I originally had planned fell thru. So now I'm having to replan everything. The Y sounds pretty fun as well. I wish we could do the park. He loves being outside but it's just too cold. I completely understand about no help, not even child support. Thanks again to everyone with suggestions. And well to Amanda, thanks for making me feel better about myself as a person. Karma is a bitch. One day you may be in the position that you're making fun of. Or at least I hope you will be so you can your words of sounding cheap

You have a party with family at home, anything more for a child at that age, is to make up for a parents insecurity.

My apartment is too small for all of our family & friends or it would be here.
