They inspected & told me I needed a new wax ring, so I gave them my credit card information. Next day they called & said $700 plus!!!!! Said they had to snake the drain. If they'd called I'd have snaked the damn drain.$700???? You must be joking, except no joke. Would I call them again? What do you think?

They inspected & told me I needed a new wax ring for the toilet. I gave them my credit card number. Next day they said they had to snake the drain - needed two guys a whole day, and that it cost $700 plus!!!!!!! If they'd called me I would have snaked the drain myself.$700?? You have to be joking, except the joke's on me. Damn.

As a heating professional I would just like to state that you are not allowed to charge a credit card without a signed approval. No matter what company you work for. And I can also say that snaking a drain is quite a task, often requiring 2 men to get the equipment in. I see to often a job completed after being explained and approved, a customer thinking they could have done it themselves and throwing a fit over a price they approved. For one , you pay for service, and I don't see a complaint that the problem wasn't solved, just that you didn't like the price. I work in the same area and know their technicians and the owner. They are an honest and fair company.
