They're not giving the ball to Jimmy enough, can't you see? His dad is down there on the field trying to root his son on and no one cares? IF we could all go down on the field and root him on, I think he could play better! If the Jay's have any chance of winning, Jimmy needs to carry the ball at least 60 times per game, and we need to single him out and root him on, go Jays!

Big Q-correct!
The jays have no passing attack and should NOT attempt a pass. They have no speed at the receivers. With the 'O' line they have they should run over people. Let's hope the coaching staff gets it.
Go Jays!

Right, we don't have much of a passing game. And we can't defend it too well either. Our D-backs are getting smoked out there. If not for those two long pass completions from St. Peter last week, they would have only had something along the lines of 43 TOTAL yards. Let's hope a mighty wind comes through Blue Earth this Friday and takes away the Bucs air game.

What exactly does Tim Loonen do on the sidelines? I haven't seen him confer with a coach, carry a clipboard, or talk to a player, or even carry a headset. When Jimmy gets a full ride to USC, will Tim get a sideline pass, or will he be satisfied with the occasional "this is Jimmy Loonen's dad" on the Jumbotron.
Tim, drop it down a notch. You are not fooling anyone, and do you wear your Bluejay coaching outfit to bed at night and have Dorothy do cheers till you fall fast asleep?

Super Fan, I agree with you. Whenever the pass is connected to our tightend, it looks like he is running with two full leg casts!

Levi Fossen has through his own effort, given this team an inspitational lift. Yes, I agree, he has no one to throw it too, but, don't we have any other weapons?

This is an easy team to defend against. Let's just hope our defense can stop them.

Jimmy, can you carry the ball 70 times?

My God! You guys are talking about these kids as if they were the only one's on the team! The "BLUEJAYS" consists of an ENTIRE team - not just the Loonen kid. Granted he's an awesome athlete, but he needs his teammates to help him and the team succeed. I think what these kids need is more better organization and motiviation.

Bojangles- I know Loonen's dad and he is 'ALL' about the team not his kids succes. He coached our son in youth baseball and basketball ( I think even flag football). He put in alot of time with the kids. I think he still coaches baseball?

What-RIGHT ON! It's a team game!

Jays lost again! As alwyas the coach played the same players the entire game! Poor kids were probably exhausted, yet the coach kept sending them back in. Then of course you have the "other" team (sidelines) who seem to not even be part of the team or were they just there to show off their nice uniforms? Come on coach - if your starting players can't do what needs to be done then maybe you should be sending in some of that "beef" you have on the sidelines; especially since whatever it is your doing is not working! I don't see much enthusiam coming from the team - maybe that's something the coaches really need to work on as well.

Super Fan, you didn't answer my question. What is Tim Loonen's job on the sidelines? That might be all well and good that he coached your son at an early age, but that doesn't give him privy to the sidelines.

Maybe he is just trying to hit up these kids at an early age for buying insurance from him, since FedEx canned him.

From what I understand he takes down stats - anyone else have any idea why he's on the sidelines?

Loonen helps with the stats is what I understand. He is volenteering his time to the program and not getting paid. He is NOT a coach. I haven't seen him give any business cards out yet-good one.

I didn't see the game but I listened to it on the radio-Beckman belongs in the line, not out TRYING to catch and HOLD ON passes! TOO SLOW-ROCK HANDS!

What about defense? There'some pretty good sized kids on the sidelines - maybe they should be out their holding the other team from scoring. Another thing - doesn't the coach know any other plays? They definitely need to revamp their strategy. By the way, what station do you hear the game on?

I wouldn't blame the coach. It sounds their was a lot of mental error by the jays.

I think the Loonen kid only had 19 carriers. I feel they need to get him the ball more than this. He is their big play maker as Becker is for Blue Earth Area. Just my opinion.

I can't believe that there are individuals on this site making negative comments about the hands of certain players, running as if they have two casts on their legs, etc. I sure hope that none of these young student athletes or their parents ever read some of these comments.

I agree-these are 16 and 17 year old kids. That's keep in mind it's only high school sports people.
