i didnt live at the TCH but did spend time there with friends. I used to trick or treat there so I could get (I think it was Mrs. Jones) great popcorn balls. I also had a huge crush on a boy who lived there. Henry Fields was my first love. I missbehaved there like I did everywhere and I got into trouble but I was always welcome there.
Hello Joy, this is Henry. I remember you and I was crazy about you too. Do you remember Debbie Green or Wanda Staggs? I am very suprised that you remember me.

That is nonsense. I grew up there and as far as I know there was not one person that was abused by anyone. 62-66.
There were a few kids there that probably needed some beating but beating was not a process used to change behavior. In fact I only got my butt busted once, and deserved it.
Vernon you are correct I may have been the one needing a beating but God allowed grace for me. I had a good expirence as well. I stayed there from 1959-1962. I did get separated from my sister whom I've never seen again but that was not the homes fault. We hear a lot of things but will say again God took care of me when I was helpless to care for myself.

Last time I saw Joe he had moved back to Yale, Ok and him an his Brother Wes was hanging around Cushing, Ok around 1990's.. I would go back home to visit when I took leave an always seem to run into Wes at little 9 convenience store.. I know you know Danny Hamil and his sisters Lisa & Debbie. Danny's a friend on my Facebook, he has a a few people on his friends list like Mr., & Mrs Vaughn and their daughter Leslie.. I remember Mr. White, and thought he was always way too Cool! I wonder what happened to Julie Fox, the Bad Blond who was always starting trouble between us guys lol!

My dad and his older brother lived there in the late 50's. They didn't talk about it much and I know they ran away and lived in the woods so it couldn't have been that great of a place. They were 4 & 7 years old!

I remember David Upton , Joe and Julie Fox. I lived with the that older lady for awhile then the pickles and another cottage. Kaye Davis was one of my best friends. And There was Yasi and a girl who was called miss piggy. We're you there when all of us girls from the pickles cottage took all the bikes and stuff in the middle of the night and put everything in the middle of the field. I was Jackie Howard the little blond girl that was in trouble a lot.

Hey Ramona, I do remember you and the askews and Kathy mary and leslie. Seems I remember the askews drove a big old jeep or something and MR. Askew walked with a stiff leg from a war injury I think. Was there from 70-78. I remember helping Mr askew paint the inside of his windows in his jeep. Good to hear from another TCH kid. How have you been doing?

Turley did right by my siblings and I. One of my earliest memories is being made to sit still and watch the news. I was 4 years old. At the time I thought it was the end of the world. I was always treated with love and respect. Thank GOD for Turley. May HE continue to bless Hope Harber
