This was a hard story to read, with a death of a young adult dead. I send prayers to the family of this girl but hope that no matter how close the driver of the car she was in, that person goes to jail or gets a high dollar punishment. It seems that both cars were to blame, speed, and failure to yield are two very ignorant reasons to loose a child!

Tulsa needs to do something about red-light runners and drinking drivers. It is so sad to see a young life snuffed out in an instant like this. I cannot imagine the depth of the family's grief...prayers for them.

Two of teenagers in this accident attend the school where I teach. The young lady who was killed was an amazing Christian and was loved by all. She is in heaven now praising Jesus. She would want you to know Jesus too. Seek Him out. He loves you and wants to save you. Micayla we will miss you but will see you again.

you will always be in my heart forever. i'm sorry for never being there for you. you were like a sister to me deep in my heart. i'm going to miss seeing you in the hall ways at school and seeing your smile. i know that there is something greater for you. i will always and forever miss you. my heart and prayers go out to the family. For i know how hard it must be. I will always be there for you with support and incouragement. she was a good friend and lived a great life. I will miss you always and forever. My heart cries out for the family and friends. But with love and care i know we can get through this. She lived a great life and had a lot of friends. If you dont know her she was an amazing person with even a greater personality. She was a great student with high expectations. I love you with all my heart and my prayers go out to you and your family, friends. love, Erik

Stupid, stupid drivers. Drinking, texting, yakking on the phone. Driving is absolutley a nightmare in this town. (Probably everywhere else too..)

They also need to do something about stop sign runners. I am seeing more and more of that and when I notice who is running the stop sign it is usually a Mexican. I guess they are trying to drive like they do in Mexico.

I think people need to just pray. You can blame. But I will not bring her back. Pray for the two victims still fighting for thier lives. Pray for there families.

You are a bigoted idiot. Drivers of all genders, races, etc. are guilty of running stop signs, lights, texting and yakking while driving, and driving drunk. It is out of control.

Have you been to Mexico, Bo-Dud-ley?

I've been hit twice from behind while sitting at a red light. Both were women, one white, one black, both were texting.

I saw a woman bounce off a curb and nearly overturn and she was white. And texting.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame Mexicans anymore than anyone else.

Sounds like the driver of the car was at fault, but that's the other danger of drinking and driving. Even if it isn't your fault, if you have been drinking, you will likely be completely responsible. And you should be, because you shouldn't be on the road at all!!! The other lesson is when buying a car, you are finding a balance between fuel economy and safety. Finally, when the light is red, STOP!!!

My sympathies to the girl's family, and to all those still living. You could be next, maybe that eternity question is more important than you think. Jesus or Hell! It's you're choice, because without Jesus you're not good enough to pass judgement, and there's no other way.

I pray that the two still fighting for their lives continue on fighting so they can live their lives teaching others and preaching to others how they prayed and survived a stupid choice! Driving has rules and because those rules are broken by people like this everyday, other lives are being lost! So what if it was a teeny tiny red light, or a teeny tiny one word text that needed to be sent or read, or that teeny tiny drink that they drank an hour ago! They will be slapped on the wrist with a ticket "MAYBE" but the thought of them living everyday with a mistake they made feels more satisfying to me then watching them die also.

so, it's not okay to blame Mexicans (I agree), but it's okay to blame women?!
I've seen people of all colors, ages, and genders driving distracted.

Hate to break it to you but Jesus is long dead and heaven is a delusion.
