I'm sorry for your loss, sounds like she was an amazing woman. Where can we hear more about her story?
Since: Mar 10

RIP Ms. McCondichie. My thoughts are with her family.

It's nice to see that someone who was actually there and lived through it is telling her children and grandchildren "to look to the future".

May God have mercy on your Family during your time of loss! I would have loved to met her and talked to her. Sounded like a truly amazing woman. Tulsa was lucky to have had her.

I'm sure she's real proud of all of the hoodlums and thuggery going on in North Tulsa these days.
I wouldn't advocate another riot, but I WOULD advocate cleaning up the "norf side" once and for all.

There was no Tulsa race riot. It's all just an elaborate story to put Tulsa on the map.

And the stupid has spoken, oh yeah, and I fixed your name.

To: SSDD? Why display your ignorancy by saying their are thuggery and hoodlums in North Tulsa? Thugs and hoodlums do not have a district. You have evil every where. Some of your Motorcycle gangs are more hoodlum than some people in North Tulsa could ever dream of being. Stop spewing hatred out of your mouth, but perhaps you cant stop spewing it out of your mouth because it is in your heart. No one is proud of evil. What would be your plan to clean up the North side? We have a woman that was a part of the Tulsa Race Riot. Give condolence to the family. She was and amazing woman and will be greatly missed.

Poem Im Not My Skin
Im not my skin
Im not your expectations
Im the soul that lives in me,
Im that which the blind can see
And all that you cant see.
Im the little boy confused
By the worlds segregation,
Im the laugh of their talk,
Im not trying to be you,
Look at my stiff black hair?
It stands tall like trees in the forest:
Its feels so pure and sets me free.
Look at my thoughts, they are diverse
And full of colors.
Im not my skin
Im not who you think Iam,
Im the river that flows and blesses
Every oasis with a touch of water.
Im the man who sees no color.
Touch my tan skin
And youll see that Im human too.
Im not trying to gain approval from you,
I just want you to know that Im not my skin.
My culture is scarred by the human traitors,
I owe no forgiveness to any man alive
Does the way I walk, smile or wear my afro
Make me any less human?
Should I be ashamed of my own skin?
Im not my skin,
Im not my hair,
Im the soul that lives within,
Poverty, disease, loss of human dignity
Are my arch enemies besides man.
Your broken kisses heal my human body,
You spite for a person of a person my kind
Cannot break or shake to take me away into any
Sort of mortal shame for the skin that covers my
Bones and muscles.
My hearts beats rhythmically like a Zambian drum,
My broad nose inhales the air my ancestors left,
My eyes see the moon, sun and the stars
That Bantu forefathers
Worshiped and sacrificed lives for
And this is who Ill always be.
Im not my skin,
Im the simple person youll never know,
Im the culture will never touch,
Im the proud onyx soul youll never kiss.
Im that little girl on mothers back
Who she carried whenever
She went begging on the street,
Im that lost lone needle in the hay.
You can only see my russet skin..
In me you can only see a slave,
A second class human!
Ill continue to walk tall like the beautiful
African queen my mother told me Im.
Im not my skin,
Like you Im not perfect, I react when I dont mean to.
To kill me, take away my skin
And throw it beyond my childrens reach.
My black skin rages your emotions
Your lust for another killing of my kind
Fuels every breath you take.
Heres a knife tear my skin apart?
Youll see that the blood I hold is scarlet
Like a humans or any other animals.
When my heart is broken I cry just like you do,
To you good skin means bright and not black.
The sun cant hurt me I tamed her,
The nights creatures cant see me
Because my skin camouflages my soul.
Your bitter words cant hurt me, I hate them not you.

You are wrong on this! I personally had a family member that was part of the local paper and was a photographer. I have the pics in my hand....

I'll give you three guesses what I have in my hand.
Your family members were part of the hoax.
