Jury convicts Englishman of murdering his former fiance'

A jury this evening convicted Englishman Darren John Bridgeman of first-degree murder for ambushing his former fiancA in her front yard after midnight.

It's a shame he won't be executed. Perhaps if we taxpayers are lucky he'll be murdered in prison.

Dude got off easy. Everything in this case reeks of pre-meditation and a life is gone never to be again. So sorry for Miss Bennawit's family and her boyfriend.

Didn't quite catch whether those "Life" and "Fifteen years" sentences were concurrent or consecutive -- parallel or sequential. If consecutive/sequential, I believe that pretty much blows any chance of parole, early release, etc, etc... Now they just have to find him a nice simple room in a Roach Motel somewhere -- "Bugs Check In, but They Don't Check Out..."

Don't worry about the consecutive for the second count. We don't have parole in Florida anymore and life means life, no early release.

I'll bet the new girlfriend is glad he broke up with her. The jury did a great job.

Tracy was a wonderful person, I looked up to her because of her knowledge in I.T. and was devastated when I heard the news. I am glad justice was served, this loser deserves the worst in prison.
