I do not agree with this law, I believe you should contact the home owner/dog owner first and warn them. And what exctly constitutes excessive or habitual barking, and who is going to be the judge of that? I have two dogs and they are well behaved but will occassionaly bark at a squirrel or rabbit, and the stray cats that roam our neighborhood, which animal control has done nothing about. Now does that barking count as habitual? and what is you happen to have an unusally negative neighbor who has nothing better to do than look up all the Prairie Village by-laws and ordinances and then call adn reports all the neighbors and familie sin the neighborhood on every little thing....is that taken into account if they report my dogs for barking at squirrels and rabbits? Oh and did I mention that these same neighbors also feed the animals which only attracts them more into our backyard??

I think that if you put your dog outside and hear he/she barking excessively (and you know what that is and if you don't there are other issues)e.g. repeatedly for 5 minutes, then have respect for your neighbors and bring your dog inside.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Pisces

Someone is extremely headstrong and defiant today, and there's every chance that you're the one fitting this description. The more others are trying to make you behave yourself or do what they want, the more determined you'll be to do the exact opposite. Well, it is a Full Moon, and a lunar eclipse in emotional Cancer, so you're excused! Show them that you're an individual in your own right without going completely overboard about it, because that will cause trouble. Then once you've got all that off your chest you can relax and look forward to a really Happy New Year!
