Well the american indians were recieved reparations for their loses. Just as many africans have died worldwide. Blacks have not received acknowlegdement that they were ever wrong. thank you for your interest in these topics because i do feel as strongly as you that its very important for us to understand history so we can take a proper stance on issues in the present. i have been on this kick recently where i like to hear minister farrakhans speeches where he demonizes white people for the attrocities commited by them during the slave age in america and after. he said some things that really stung me. allthough the man is so intelligent, he is so full of resentment and hate. and a man so revered by his followers to me is very dangerous because he is allmost worshipped. he actually encourages blacks to dispise whites. this is the equivolent of the kkk or other white hate groups but blacks would tell you otherwise. for this reason i wanted to have a respectful coorespondance with a black person who is of like mind with me in the way of trying to get past the social problems we have in america between the blacks and whites so true dialogue can take place. some facts are these: europe has been under seige starting in the age of muslim expansion across north africa and into the iberian penninsula and sicily, and ended with the turks pressing into the baltic region some 1000 years later. not just these black and middle eastern races, but also the huns and mongols (which were asian/orientals)made war on europe before the colonial period and worldwide european expansion. the reason i think this is very important for people to remember is to realize that not only whites, but ALL races of men killed, raped, enslaved, and brutalized eachother. europeans happened to defend their lands against these various peoples and were eventually the victors. then they went on from there to conquer and enslave and exploit alot of the known world. i have to say (allthough spectlation)that if the moors (which as far as i know were black skinned peoples)were to have conquered europe, they would have eventually sailed across the atlantic, and taken north america in an attempt to spread islam which their religion avidly teaches. they would have treated the natives badly just as they have treated the whites in europe. the moors used a full grown horse as a means of measuring their captives to determine their fate between death, rape, or enslavement. they made their european captives walk under the horse. if a boys head touched the horses belly, he was killed. if not, he was sold as a slave. if a girls head touched the horses belly, she was raped and the smaller girls were also sold into slavery.this was a means of "breeding out" the vanqiushed. i feel that the skin color of the moors is important for us to know just so that we all realize that we are ALL responsible. and we ALL must be kind to eachother to clear the debts of so much evil that has been done to eachother. my conclusion is that it has been our nature to be brutal and violent towards those different from us no matter what race or color we are talking about. please respond!!!! youre obviously an intelligent guy and id love to hear what you have to say. can we keep this going? email me at [e-mail]
