Excellent. Ms. Conaghan needs to be responsible for killing another human being. Drunk and stupied is not how she should live her life. Jail time should get her to understand her actions.

She is a 19 year old child! Going to jail or prison is not the awnser.. its not like she killed this women on purpose. She should be punished, but all kids make mistakes

FAIL.

What if that was your grandma, would you still say the same thing? She ended another human beings life. If the lady had been crossing the street on a dark rainy night it'd be one thing, but she was in her front yard gardening and this individual left the road, struck her, and kept going.

What kind of person are you to think she shouldn't be held accountable?

I agree, she should go to jail- what kind of a message is being sent if she doesn't?? If teens in were actually held responsible for thier actions- maybe this would be a better world. And why wasnt this lil girl in school(college?)...because she was too busy getting high...should we also forgive that? Any time a life is taken, there should be a grave price to pay....
i agree 100% with "Blessenmich wrote:

Why is drinking and driving such a big part of American culture? Thirty years old a program was started to educate people about the dangers of drunk driving and to make it less of a cultural norm.
