This thread is supposed to be about home breakins. Could we ALL please try to get back to a civil discourse. The name calling on Florissant Topix does get quite tiresome.

. Stay away from Bulls Eye on Manchester. The owners bully customers. After I was threatened by one of the owners he followed me in his corvette. He owns a mustang now but he tries to provoke people so he can have an excuse to commit murder then claim self defense. He is dangerous and thinks his contacts in St. Louis will save him from jail after he shoots someone and claims self defense.

Holy crap dude. I mean you've obviously got some beef with bullseye, whatever thats all about? But digging up a 4 YEAR OLD thread, wow....that might be a new record.
So since you brought out the backhoe to dig so deep, and I'm sure this is going to be interesting...just why exactly was this person 'following' you? Sorry, but it seems a bit of a stretch that the owner of a business is going to take time out of his day to follow you around and stalk you with a weapon?
Have you been noticing black helicopters and clandestine looking people watching you too close at stoplights too?
My own experience with bullseye is like most shops these days . Owners tend to be a little edgy, as the business they are in can be dangerous, knuckleheads quite often come in and are reckless, or just a general pain in the @ss at times.
The range side of things is what is is. theres only so many so they get to bend you over.
The retail side, again like most shops is overpriced, little room or desire to negotiate, and I'll agree not always particularly friendly, especially until they get to know you.
Basspro, cabelas, ultimate defense, bullseye, you name it just, price themselves out these days as far as I'm concerned.
Dunns has always been my go to, but the last few times I called to order...they just wouldn't budge off even MSRP.
I really prefer to support local business, but everything I've bought in the last few years has all been online, and for usually hundreds less than retail and easy as pie. Generally only takes a week or less for shipping. Once it comes in, go to your FFL dealer ...fill out the NICS and $20-$30 transfer fee, and you're out the door. If you need something faster than that I have to wonder why?
There's enough places you can shoot most anything for an affordable fee if you need a 'test drive'.
Also part of the reason the gun shops aren't as friendly as they used to be, such is life.
