You pulled my chain! You blast people if the IP address is West of the river. You don't want them here. My point was, TO BAD!
I'm sure everybody else understood how my response related.
I'm not surprised that you didn't comprehend it.
Why can't you respond and communicate without calling names like a 6th grader? You act like that might be about when you quit school.

Roots! We have every right to tune in on our roots.
Go back and read this thread. There are people remembering Florisant where they grew up. Everything is pleasant until post #27
when a post from Florissant starts it! It is ignored until #35, another post from Florissant. Finally on #36 it is addressed.
Most people want to talk about good memories and it goes fine until some idiot butts in. It gets ignored until some other idiot responds.
PEOPLE MOVE!
They move because their job changed, they want to be closer to kids, They are downsizing and move to a condo, they are upsizing and want a bigger home.
We have a right to talk with people about our roots.
With the logic of DON'T MOVE, I would be living on Bartmer Ave in Wellston.
With due respect, I do realize that I am wasting my breath.

Roots !!! That's a laugh. What would you know about roots. A couple of blacks moved in and you ran like a little girl. You really showed some courage there. All you did was sh3t on your old neighbors. YOU WERE THE PROBLEM.

And I'm sure all your "friends and releatives that live there" appreciate how you crapped all over them.

With your logic, it was really my fathers problem for moving from Wellston to Florissant. No, wait it was his father for moving from Europe to here.
Where did you get your information on why I moved?
You claim we are raciast and you are not. What do you mean when you state that we sh3t our neighbors? If your not raciast, you would not make a statement like that.

You know you grew up in Florissant if YOU EVER HAD YOUR HOME,AUTO, OR PLACE OF BUSINESS BROKE INTO.
You found afrosheen on the inside of your car and your stereo missing. Chicken bones and watermellon rhines on the street.

you know your from florissant,if you remember when it was all white and you could leave you windows open at night and your car unlocked and you had peace and quite,no horns honking all night, and sounds of the ape house at the zoo.no trashed homes and cars around and you felt safe walking your dog or going to the store.the schools were held in high regard, now they are a joke.all this because the black devils moved in and took the city to it's knees.

Can't argue with your observations but I fault our local elected officials. More enforcement of housing codes instead of gutting the department that enforce them. Where you at now hoghead.

We used to ride our Pinto horse Toko on Lindburg. When we moved him to A small stable across from where k mart was from the barn where we used to keep him( Paddock Stables which is still there!) we rode him all the way up . We used to go to horse shows at Brown stables and barrel race and had a great time. we rode home to Paddoc estates and ran on the golf coarse, we also rode in ther Florissant Valley Parade!)

Ok, forgive my ignorance on this, but what was the name of the stables near the True Value and Markensons Shoes. My friend and his sisters had their horse there, and I rode it a few times in '70 or '71.
It DIDN'T go well!!! Ha!

That was Brown Stables, there is an entrance road to those bldgs, next to Taco Bel. Sits behind the Aldi store. Don't think any stables left, just a few homes back there.

Does anyone remember a store that was near Crest Bowl.. I THINK it was called Meyer's Confectionery. It was run/owned????? by two elderly women who lived on the second floor. The candy was on the first floor. Lots of penny candy!!!!
I'm interested in the ladies that ran the store. they supported me when I was young and hungry. I would write a check for 25.00 get milk and bread. with cash left over and knew they wouldn't cash it for two weeks. I know it was intentional. they knew me as a little girl.
