Since we're talking about old restaurants, here's a few that were in our area but I can't guarantee the accuracy of all.
Jo-Jos
Reuben's & CoCos
Cattle Company
Flaming Pit
Lum's
Das Weinerhaus
Der Weinerschnitzel
Roma Via
Redwood
Village Inn
MBM BBQ
Archer's
Erio's
Jacks or Better
Howard Johnson's
Burger Chef
Sno-Cap
Station Restaurants in Schnucks
Ponticellos
Arcabassos (spelling?)

and finally, there was a steak house across from the old Christian Northwest hospital that I believe was either Steak & Ale or Cork & Cleaver
