This article smacks of jealously by the bar and restaurant owners who didn't get into the P&L project. Will there be a honeymoon? Sure. But to sustain the arena and the area around it, Kansas City needs a REAL professional team soon(NBA/NHL).

"smacks of jealously"
totally disagree. no locals were invited in to the area and existing business were torn down to make way for out of state businesses. P&L and the Sprint Center are more examples of corporate manipulation in our community. Missouri politicians are bought or just gullible.
